It may because of your ASE setting. It scans the wallet continuously and increases the CPU load. If the problem comes from the wallet CPU load, we can fix but in this case, we can't give you the answer for ASE. Did you try SwingWallet?
I'm using the 1.0.6a SNG Wallet
I mean swing wallet, not the simple wallet. Could you try the wallet in another PC?

It may because of your ASE setting. It scans the wallet continuously and increases the CPU load. If the problem comes from the wallet CPU load, we can fix but in this case, we can't give you the answer for ASE. Did you try SwingWallet?

How did you come up with the name Snowgem? I gave it some time and thought about it but can't really come up with a reasonable conclusion. What's the point?

With the 6.0 version it was 20 - 50% CPU load. With the new version 6.0a it's about 5 - 10%. A serious reduction. But why keeps the wallet software the AV software busy? When I close the wallet, the AV service goes to 0% CPU and keeps on that level.
Any idea?
