If you use p2pool, should add command param --merged. Otherwise, it will still use getblocktemplate.
i do use "--merged". it calls getauxblock and has still problems! other merged coins work fine! only TRC has problems.

p2pool (version 16.0-4-gde1be30-dirty)

I think all mining attempt should try to use the RPC command: getauxblock,

merge mining is started, normal RPC command: getblocktemplate should be disabled by the new version nodes.

Warning! Some People might be burning hashrate on block 833000!
my pool can not create that block..

Quote
getblocktemplate call failed for daemon instance 0 with error {"code":-1,"message":"CreateNewBlock: TestBlockValidity failed: late-legacy-block (code 16)"}

so maybe this is the reason why there has been no block in the last 2 hours?

I just remembered another big thing for the list.  Feel free to pick the list apart, or to add your own ideas.

Plans for TRC after the hard fork
Be listed on at least 3 exchanges (not including Vircurex)
Have five websites accept TRC as payment
Have a TRC Foundation p2pool seed node & seed wallet
An official TRC blockchain explorer (instead of just using whichever one happens to be working right now.)
Get two volunteer developers to join the TRC Foundation
Open discussion about the next step for the wallet.
NEW ITEM: Have a Terracoin Foundation managed cloud mining operation to improve stability.

Whats happening? TRC is still on 832999 for the past 2 hours!

This looks a Good List , just make it official with the awe shocking photoshopped graphics Smiley

I wish I had that original stock photo that the original developer used for his first incarnation of his website.  I would totally use that.
it can attract more attention if so buds but we are looking forward for more progress of this coin good luck.

Looks like block solving has stalled a bit. Need a little extra hash power for the final push to block 833,000!

So.... close... must... fork...

Just 13 more blocks and we can be done with this nonsense!  Oh man, are they going to be surprised when they notice it.  I would bet they are mining to an old wallet too...

45 blocks until hard fork!!

It took a lot of time, so what are we going to expect after the hard fork?

I expect we will see a lot of pissed off people using Vircurex, and using the old wallet when they lose their coins sending to Cryptopia. Smiley

As for a game plan after the hard fork.  I hasn't written up anything official yet, but here is a quick list that I made the other day.

Plans for TRC after the hard fork
Be listed on at least 3 exchanges (not including Vircurex)
Have five websites accept TRC as payment
Have a TRC Foundation p2pool seed node & seed wallet

Get two volunteer developers to join the TRC Foundation
Open discussion about the next step for the wallet.

I want to wait two weeks after the hard fork to make sure any bugs are worked out before jumping into anything new.

We are always looking for new members of the Terracoin Foundation and even if you don't want to join the foundation everyone's voice is appreciated.

As I said erlier, vircurex "staff" is EXTREMELY slow responding to anything if they ever do. The wallet services were all down for over a month once before they were put back online.

I started warning them over a month ago.  I think the guy who runs it sometimes leaves for long periods of time, but I thought I would try once again.

It does not hurt of course, might be that he drowns in emails anyway Smiley. Have you asked what's required to be registered at Poloniex?
