Couldn't agree more about defi. Embarrassing to see some older twitter accounts chasing profits, people whom you know have made it already. They promote this ethereum disease and at the same time help to get a lot of new people alienated from the true decentralization of money/value.

Yeah, that is the main issue that is really pissing me off. All of those people who are going to get burned are going to tell all of their friends and family that cryptocurrencies are all Ponzi schemes and we will never get anywhere with total adoption!
Also, I totally agree with the feeling that ethereum is a disease because it makes it too easy to create a scam token. There has to be a tiny gateway to slow people down from creating scams, but ETH makes it available for everyone....
