Welcome to the third edition of the Tratok newsletter.

It has been an interesting week filled with progress and developments which will all come to light in the very near future. The key highlights that are already public knowledge are:

Listing on Mercatox was supposed to take place this week. This was a paid listing which was supposed to occur 2-6 days following receipt of payment. Since TRAT/ETH and TRAT/BTC coins were not listed on Thursday as anticipated, our team has contacted Mercatox to find out why there has been a delay.

Tratok prices and volumes in the 4th tier exchanges have increased consistently over the course of the last two weeks and volatility has reduced as people who simply participated to sell instantly have discarded their holdings. This has been good for the project as firstly, it has allowed others to buy their TRAT for cheap, increasing distribution and secondly it has shown that the sensible money believes in the project.

Tratok Ltd remains committed to fighting fraud and doing things the proper way. It seems there is a misguided element of the community that believes inflation of numbers with the use of bot accounts is constructive. It is not. All it does is clutter the channel, make the project lose credibility and waste time. Numbers mean nothing if they are not real. 1000 genuine users of a platform are much better than 100,000 fake accounts. The same way an exchange with 2 million in genuine volume is better than an exchange with 50m in fake volume. It seems that this is an industry-wide problem but Tratok Ltd will not tolerate this behaviour. The team understands that due to progress, increases in TRAT prices and the growing interest in the community, that people are tempted to try to game the system and have multiple accounts. You are wasting your time. Before the next airdrop occurs, those who dumped, those who tried to make multiple accounts and those who do not follow the project, read the newsletters will have their accounts removed. It is that simple. This project wants only real people who believe in the technology and its potential, not those who simply have unrealistic expectations of turning 1 dollar into 100,000 dollars in a few weeks.

Now some announcements for the community:

Tratok Ltd is launching a 410,000 TRAT prize competition over the next week. To participate is very easy. Write to [email protected] telling us where would be your favourite holiday destination to visit using Tratok and why. Please do not forget to include your wallet address in your response.

The team will review the responses and vote for their favourites. The top 10 will be featured on Tratok.com and will receive prizes as follows:

There is no reason to delay progress. There has been a lot of hard behind the scenes work and in truth, the project is months ahead of schedule. Originally intended for release in May 2019, the platform will be released to the public ahead of schedule before the end of the year. The time for Tratok to be used in its intended role is fast approaching and we cannot wait to empower millions of people to travel the world more efficiently.

In addition, the airdrop originally envisioned for 10th January 2019 will now be happening much earlier. As a result, registration for this final airdrop will close on 10th November 2018 with the airdrop being conducted a few days later.

A few minor developments over the last week:

• 1497 fake accounts registered for the airdrop have been banned. The integrity of this project is serious and will be preserved.
• 1st page of Mercatox has been reached with votes, it appears due to delays in their verification of accounts, the process is taking long. However, achieving the first page in 10 days despite others being there since 2017 is an encouraging sign.
• Paid Yobit listing is still awaiting addition, we have contacted them to ask what is taking so long.
• Tratok was added to the Komodo platform and BaterDex exchange.
• Tratok surpassed the 10,000,000 tokens volume in trading for 4 consecutive days.
• The number of transactions involving Tratok has surpassed 14,000.
• Volatility on the fourth tier exchanges has reduced and the average price is 400% compared to last week.

Looking forward we have negotiated and received agreements from 17 different exchanges ranging in the USD $2m - $60m daily volume range, as well as prices. The funds to cover the listings are available. However, our team is conducting due diligence as it appears many of these exchanges are faking their volumes and we do not wish to give several BTC to frauds and promote such dishonest behavior. This behaviour is wrong and people should boycott these exchanges that simply wish to steal listing fees and deposits.

Our team would also like to hear from the community, regarding what exchanges they use (excluding the first tier, which is obvious) and which exchanges they would like to see Tratok on. Please let us know in this thread.

Welcome to the second edition of the Tratok Project newsletter. We have many updates to share concerning the past week much of which is community orientated, so please take a moment to read up on developments and progress. As holders of the token, you are a stakeholder in this project and a part of it and should be informed.


The integrity of the project will continue to be preserved:

An additional 1412 fraudulent accounts and referral program cheaters have been caught. Their intended share of Tratok will be distributed equally among the legitimate accounts. The team at Tratok don’t care about having thousands of extra fake holders just to “pad our stats”. Tratok is meant to be used by real people and we want there to be genuine distribution and a real community, not just the illusion of one.

 

Exchange Progress and secondary trading:

Currently, millions of Tratok has been traded in exchanges such as Etherdelta and Ecex. These listings were made by community members and not the Tratok team. Prices have ranged from the earlier dumpers who sold for as little as 0.000000001 to those who sold for 0.00001000 per token (10000X or 1,000,000% difference!). We believe this behavior shows what happens when people panic and can not think about the bigger picture. The good news is that the community has bought up these dumps which is a testament to the fact that the real community has faith in the project.

Note: It is challenging to understand the logic of some people and how they panic sell without thinking. For example, if you can see a few million tokens selling in the 0.000001000 - 0.000010000 range, why would you then dump 50k tokens for 0.000000060 just to sell them in a second. Had you just patiently waited an hour you would have gotten a price of 0.000001890 or 31.5X (3,150%) higher. Illogical behaviour like this is one of the biggest problems with the industry. In short, there are still selfish individuals who cannot think more than 10 seconds ahead and think too small. Its quite a pity.

Thanks to the open ledgers available, our team know exactly which wallets dumped and they will not be getting any additional Tratok on 10th January 2018. At the same time, those who bought have clearly shown faith in the project and will be allocated more tokens at the next airdrop. We see this as a constructive way to reward those who are truly standing alongside Tratok Ltd and supporting the Tratok Project.

I do not believe that daily communication on telegram as well newsletters sent to all those who registered for the airdrop can count as "silence on all channels". To accuse the team of this is not fair. I believe we have been very direct at communicating with the community, more so than most. We have even asked opinions on polls etc so we could decide how best to prioritize efforts based on the current community demographics. In addition the sheer volume of questions we get from people who signed up for the airdrop without taking 10 minutes to even read about the project, and our patience in answering these shows our commitment to communication and transparency.

Regarding the last week a few things:

• An unscheduled airdrop was conducted to reward genuine members. Many fraudulent and bot generated accounts were caught and their holdings that they would have received by them on the 10 January 2019 were instead distributed to the legitimate accounts in the community.
• Three exchange listings with saw millions of tokens traded in the secondary market by those who got them from airdrops etc.
• Voting started on Mercatox.
• Sumbissions were made to Idex and Hotbit.
• Yobit was sent a paid inclusion application.
• Images from the demo application were released.

These are updates and progress, with a lot more going on behind the scenes which will be announced via our newsletters and telegram as it comes to fruition. We realize that many here want to see hype so TRAT quickly boosts and they can sell their airdropped tokens for a few dollars. Indeed this is what has happened over the previous week, however, we are against this approach and consider this very shortsighted.

We do not care about short-term gains and anyone hoping to quickly. Our intention is for Tratok to be used for its intended purpose for travel and tourism and we are more interested in a community that sees the benefits of this, reads our updates and pays attention to the solutions that Tratok Ltd can provide to existing problems in the industry. It is this kind of support and backing that will make us succeed.

Everyone is waiting for the exchanges or some big updates, but so far there is silence on all channels. We'll see how they fulfill their obedience if they continue to ignore the community, then nothing good will come of it. His word must be kept otherwise investors will lose faith in the project.

it looks like this is a new exchange, I like the display is also very light, not many altcoins are traded, how to add new coins in this exchange?

I think that few people will sell for such a price. Only people who don't believe the project at all will be ready to go at such prices. I don’t like the concept of this project, but even I wouldn’t sell tokens for such a price mate. This is the behavior of stupid money.
