That is right, DAICO is a good way to protect the investors from ico scams, as we all know, after the ico, many dev team just run away or hide, the investors can not do anything and seems to loss all the money, DAICO will be helpful, if the dev team do not work, they can not get any ico funds.

hey. may somebody share the status of the token sale? no matter what i do , the site wont run.
i already used different browser but no use. i will really appreciate if someone will share me the status of the sale.

If you will be able to check the medium of Abyss, there is a comparison table of Abyss to their competitors wherein you will be able to see the what are the services that Abyss can offer that their competitors don't have.

Overcoming New Challenges



Dear friends, the KYC/AML procedure proved another challenge we had to encounter and overcome.

The KYC contractor’s solution has been unable to process all submitted requests correctly and timely, which has resulted in receiving numerous problem reports.
For this reason, we stopped cooperation with our current KYC provider, and are in process of signing up with a new partner who’s utilizing another technology.

A proper KYC/AML procedure is critical to ensuring transparent and legally compliant token sale. The Abyss DAICO will comply with the Reg D under U.S. legislation, and we are obliged by law to conduct KYC/AML for all contributors (not just for those who pay over some amount). It must be launched before the crowdsale to secure (apart from other issues) that all identified contributors’ wallets are added to the smart contract and to avoid transactions sent from unauthorized wallets. Besides, according to our DAICO model, KYC/AML can not be completed after the end of crowdsale.

Till the end of the week we will provide detailed step by step instructions on how to pass the procedure, which is even more simple and requires no additional apps to be installed. The start-end date of The Abyss DAICO is also to be announced soon. We regret it is taking more time than we have expected, but all processes should be running properly and with maximum comfort.

yes they want to provide sophisticated infrastructure with an economic rewards model that others can use to build games on top of.

I think they wanted to start out with one game but ultimately it is supposed to be possible to build all kinds of games for The Abyss.

The platform would be dead in the water if it only allowed for one game to be played at the time. If I understand correctly the goal is to have an unlimited number of creative games being played on The Abyss platform and to attract millions of users.

It is a new form of fundraising similar to standard ICO but with much more control in the hands of the investors. They can vote on a funds release schedule and make decisions if the team requires more funds in between two milestones.
