Hey Nightz, thanks for the message.  Before we decided to work on the blockchain we analyzed hundreds of coins and poured over hundreds of conversations to deeply understand what the veteran crypto community as well as newbies would be interested in.  We then saw a surge of ETH based coins which overall has no real blockchain technology and was filled of a lot of empty promises.  We felt that if we were to launch a project we wanted it to be one where there would be ultra private and secure technology that would be used by the community.   Our coin was influenced by features made by Blackcoin, Peer coin, Shadow and Bitcoin (which is the core foundation). Once we decided on the blockchain we wanted to make sure that it would be reviewed by an active and privacy focused developer and asked Sunerok who is the lead developer of Verge to check out the code and make sure that it was coded up to the high standards we wanted.   We also contacted the developer of Shadow to get their blessing if we were to use some of the open sourced code from their project, which was closed and converted to Particl.  Nevertheless, we will continue to develop the blockchain technology with the funds for example in adding a Tor based mobile wallet that runs on android or ios (we don't have one yet) or integrate smart contract technology with RSK.  Lots to do!

We have total supply of 25 million coins of which 57% is for the tokensale, 25% if proof of stake rewards and the rest is explained in our whitepaper with detailed breakdown. 

Keep in mind that this is not an Ethereum based coin it is a Bitcoin based coin that will be a proof of stake coin where you will receive 5% for the first year and then a lower amount in the future. We are encouraging many users to be a part of the decentralized TokenPay blockchain network and wanted to provide a high proof of stake award for the first year.  Hope this answers your question.

Thanks for your question. I will address each one below:


1.  Sunerok is the Lead Developer of Verge Currency, which is a coin that I personally find to be amazing and it heavily influenced the scope of this project. He was enlisted by TokenPay to audit the integrity, security and quality of the blockchain. He has completed this task. The TPAY coin has passed his rigorous audit with flying colors. This is why we call it “The World’s Most Secure Coin”. We do anticipate that Sunerok will continue with the project as the Blockchain Advisor. The plan is to use proceeds from the Token Sale to hire a world class team of crypto developers. Our focus is on the blockchain technology and we strongly feel that given the demand for a coin of this nature that it can eventually be a Top 10 coin and the leading privacy product on the market.

2.  We are working on a Tor Marketplace for TokenPay as part of the overall platform buildout. Transactions will naturally be conducted in TPAY. One thing I will note is that this will be a fully compliant Marketplace for the purposes of conducting legal transactions anonymously with no fear of counterparty risk.

3.  We are very aware a lot of other blockchain projects that are making claims about acquiring a bank. However, we believe that we have a unique opportunity given the involvement of actual bankers and financial professionals on board who understand and are capable of securing the necessary licenses. Offshore banking is extremely complex and is still a case of “who you know” and we feel that we are ideally positioned to capitalize on this based on our extensive contacts already in Asia. As far as your question on the USD goes, I’ll defer that to a later date. Most offshore banks do not accept US clients for regulatory reasons.

4. Yes, the Token Sale is open to everyone worldwide.
