I still have a wallet synced, 3 active connections. 50% of the PoS blocks are 0.00 lately.

Also, that sounds great, NightmareLev8.

I'll give to the faucet fund.

I somehow managed to keep my "main"-wallet synced too - even with traveling in between.

Those 0.00 blocks will be history soon. Wink

Also: Awesome @ NightmareLev8! Wink

+1 for funding the faucet

The time when my wallet went offline, I tried to sync many times and always I get close to ~1400 behind the current block. Sometimes 1344 or 1404, but always around 1400. I don´t think this has something to say, but it is strange.  Undecided

You will likely notice that your wallet stops syncing ~24h behind the current block (usually 1-3 minutes less).

That's a symptom of the problem that needs fixing.

(Just returned home, coding cave is scheduled in about 3h from now on) Wink

Also the hosting plan seems reasonable. (And I still would suggest putting it on the "TRI"-server later - it already has a wallet, a mysql-db and a webserver.) Wink

When the faucet is online, I will host it for a time by myself and will do some improvements based on your feedback. Later on it can may be hosted somewhere else. It only requires a webserver, mysql database and a running (synced  Tongue) wallet.

My laptop that was staking TRI got kicked offline for a day or two and when I set it back up, the coins had too much coin age so they started mining blocks and forming their own chain while syncing.  I guess I should have started with -staking=0, but I didn't think that would happen.  While attempting full resync, I get caught at block 16500 so I'll have to wait for the update before I can get on the right chain again.

Aaaaaand I'm back...finally (flight delayed several hours). :|

Anyways, I will return to the TRI workbench tomorrow after wage slavery.

Nice, I hope you had some nice days.

The TRI faucet is also ready. The only thing I need is a synced wallet such that the community can test it. Wink

Unless one person is playing multiple accounts (and I am but one) we truly have an outstanding team and I know you all know that.

Lol. Never thought of that.
I'm pretty sure that isn't the case though. Smiley

I think one of the first links on our new ANN should link to the point at which wurst took TRI by the balls.

I would be honored to draft the new ANN. Is the best technique to create it and post it to this thread?

It would be minimal at first but I think we need to establish what makes TRI a unique asset. Something more than "you know why" AND I would create a new account perhaps "inwurstwetrust" or "cheops" and we can PM the account login to the team members.

I like the idea of an equity club or VC holdings for open sourced developments.

Everyone who has TRI could be public but our coin movements would be as anonymous as TORsible until we add a mixer or join SUPERNET.

So I am proposing we focus the ANN roadmap on what TRI can offer the crypto as a team, not just in features. But this is all somewhat half baked and I want to make sure you are all on board for the club concept.

Bottom line, I think we need offer a unique coin experience for BTC holders who would like to put their coin to use as opposed to hoarding or fiating it away into real estate.

I have no problem with posting the new ANN thread myself (once everything works) - i just think it complicates things unnecessarily. We have more than one person working for and with TRI, so i would have to proxy (->c&p and post your PMs) or edit everything you guys want to post or edit regarding "official" information. Could be difficult especially if it's time critical information. Time zones and so on. Smiley

Thats why I think the dev account would make more sense. As long as transparancy is guaranteed. I would agree otherwise though if I am outvoted here. Wink

Still 2 more days of holidays but here are some values for you:

- 2 or 3 mins blocktime (instead of 1 now)
- maturity 21 blocks (instead of 7 now)
- fixing blockchain sync issue (this is not an option - it will happen Tongue)

An open discussion about these is intended and wanted. Agreeing would be OK too. Smiley

wurst

I guess as long as we clearly explain who has access and why the new account was created ...

Also, perhaps we should create a single username as the new dev (or just OP) that several of us have access to in case some people leave in the future?

Hmmmm. I think an argument can be made for creating a username... but also a strong argument could be made for wurst or another longstanding member. If it were up to me I'd have wurst make the post, without a doubt.

Checking in. Wink

A new dev account is a good option i think. We simply need to be absolutely transparent, like stating who is operating this account and why ("its teamwork") with each of the accounts listed verifying that by posting an answer in the ANN.
No credibility issues then. And workload sharing would be easier. Or am I missing something?

Yeah, you might be right that people trust ANN's from older accounts more.  Wurstgelee would be good, but I don't think he wants to post it under his name.  Or maybe he just didn't want to write it.  Wurstgelee, do you want to post it under your name if whalebone writes it all up?

If not, whalebone, do you want to post it under your name or would you rather create a new account that multiple people have access to?
