You can mine Equilibria at autoexchange mining pool Zergpool.com at 0.5% fee. Please use following commands for different mining options

Option 1 Auto coin switch by profitability within algorithm with autoexchange to specified coin wallet(BTC in example below)

Code:

 -o stratum+tcp://cryptonight_xeq.mine.zergpool.com:4451 -a cn/gpu -u  -p c=BTC

Option 2 Direct coin mining with payout to coin wallet

Code:

Your coins are always safe, they are unless the network is 51% attacked and the blocks where your transations were are re-written.

You have to update your wallet to be able to use your coins. Remember to save your seed and / or your private keys before updating.
