I might start mining this next week when the wallet finally syncs
I don't think you need the wallet to sync in order to mine.

You just need to get a public address, and do as you would.

I do Turtle CPU mining currently, and it's really easy to set up!

You just need to download the claymore cpu miner, open the config.txt and put in your preferred turtle pool, and then your wallet address. . . and then you're good to go!

I don't need to have my wallet synced or anything!

I usually start mining a coin before sync....just get receiving address...it appears to me that I can do nothing with the wallet until it syncs...if you know more than I do regarding this issue, then please feel free to share...thanx

EDIT:...I just shit-canned the gui and went w/ the cli....didn't see it earlier...thanks for your time though

Sorry if you already asked. Are you planning to enter new exchanges? If so, what and when?

“One Trillion Turtles: Coin Supply and Unit Economics” @_turtlecoin https://medium.com/@turtlecoin/one-trillion-turtles-coin-supply-and-unit-economics-5bfbea0aa1f1

The highlight from that article, remove the decimal places from these coins and this is how many units there are of each coin.

Code:
TRTL:               100,000,000,000,000

BTC:              2,100,000,000,000,000

IOTA:             2,779,530,283,277,761

LTC:               8,400,000,000,000,000

ETH: 97,879,990,190,000,000,000,000,000

1 Trillion + 2 decimals is less than 21 Million + 8 decimals.
I can do 2 decimal math in my head, 8 decimals, not so much...

1 Trillion sounds big compared to 21million, as soon as you remove the decimal and focus on actual units, it turns out to be less.

wallet, for linux must compile manual??
Nope. You *can* compile manually if you want, and there are scripts in the repo that make it easy to do that. You have the choice to download native binaries as well but some prefer to compile.

Compiling is easy, just follow the instructions.

Another question, how do I find my private/public keys in the TurtleCoin Wallet, I think I saw a guide somewhere but lost the link.

In simplewallet type export_keys to output your keys, save them in a separate place from your wallet as you can use these keys to regenerate your wallet incase your machine dies or you forget the password.

Thanks for the help but I'm not using the simplewallet I'm using the GUI wallet and there is, or appears to be, no command line options to get the private keys.
Is there a way to get the private keys from this wallet https://github.com/turtlecoin/desktop-xamarin/releases/tag/1.0.6600.6021

I remember seeing posts about this coin on /biz/ in December. I mined a bit then forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me!
