That's a million dollar question for all altcoins!
Probably with ico you could get coins at low price(with escrow guarantee),if you have your miner you could mine for free,if you rent miner and have to pay for them sometimes is better ico,it cost less then rent miners.
Then.....it's a market strategy...dump all,hodl for 2-3 weeks,check if the projet is alive etc etc.
