If I don't participate in any of so-called "phases", can I still get UBTC with private key (like other forks)? Or just strike it out from my fork list and forget?

hHAHAHA THIS IS SO A FAKE COIN:: ONLY FOR ONE COMMENT I GOT BAN FROM THEIR TWITTER ACCOUNT::

i CALL them SHITCOIN   and it is a SHITCOIN...  Looks thats scam from yobit.. u cannot withdraw them or deposit  u can do nothing only loosing money.. Cheesy

The distribution is really shity. Worst than all other hard forks.
I can't retrieve any ubtc for my addresses which fulfill their rules.
Anyway, my balance are all in their control. that's the most shity part.
A small port had transferred in on Feb 03 and then been transferred out on Feb 14.

Anyone who invested in this will be fooled.

Signing ethereum addresses for the community airdrop doesn't work, always produces an error message, but I have verified the signature is valid.

Yep, same for my ETH address, signing with MEW tool doesn't work ... any ideas from UB support?

@UBTC devs, the MEW signing tool does not create signatures that validate on your site for claiming community airdrop,  https://www.myetherwallet.com/signmsg.html , multiple people have had same experience providing valid sigs for ethereum community airdrop.

Can you provide another option to prove ownership of ethereum addresses, otherwise how can people complete the requirements for the ethereum community airdrop before the deadline?

Yesterday I used a wallet extraction service to claim 4 different coins' airdrops for the 15+ BTC I held on a Ledger wallet throughout the latter half of 2017.  I tried to get the UBTC but.the program returned "no coins found."  I did some research, particularly here on bitcointalk and on the UBTC website, and confirmed that I've met all the criteria for eligibility.  I entered several outgoing BTC transactions into the UBTC explorer, where the transaction comes up, but the UBTC 'unconfirmed balance' reads 0 UBTC in red text and the 'final balance' reads 0 UBTC in black text.

Well, this being four days beyond a deadline I'm learning about for the first time, it appears there's no way I can get these UBTC tokens I'd qualified for, per the itemized criteria.  But since I'd met every criterion shouldn't they have been made accessible to me via my private key automatically?  I certainly think so.

As this stands, UBTC has MY tokens and will be using them, so they've said, to fund further development of their project.  This makes me want to let off a little steam every time I come upon any article about UBTC, any article with a comments section.

This whole alt seems to be an utter clusterfuck. Notice how no one from UBTC ever even addresses the concerns of people in this channel at all? they just shift us over to email support in order to stifle complaints in a forum where everyone can see.
The thing I'm most suprised at is that it's held any value still considering the messed up distribution process.

Yes i don´t see much traction in here too. Good projects should handle their community accordingly

There looks to be a problem validating signed ethereum messages on www.ub.com site, I keep getting errors using a signature from https://www.myetherwallet.com/signmsg.html

You might want your tech people to check your end to make sure it's validating correctly

Is there any working way to claim UBTC right now?

The steps to claim UBcoins made the whole process suspicious. Why it wasn't offered simply based on 1:1 famous and transparent formula which is used as standard ? If you wanted to see support was good to take Bitcoin community on board but you went out of the way. You could bring fresh coin though that was hard to use Bitcoin's name for that but at least could be without issues.

upon the webpage of unitedbitcoin:
https://www.ub.com/news/detail?column=1&id=280

"... During the phase 2 grace period, an amount of UBTC, equal to the balance at Bitcoin block 498,777, will be distributed at a 1:1 ratio to eligible addresses that satisfy the following conditions:

1) did not receive UBTC in the first or second round; and
2) had a Bitcoin balance at block 498,777 higher than 0.01 BTC; and
3) had activity (outgoing) between block 502,315 and 507,613 (around 3rd January 2018 to 14th February 2018). The final block height will be announced on 14th February 2018;   "

Same question i can't send the coins back since the private key may no longer be safe.

I contacted UBTC support over this problem, answer was

"Unfortunately, you did not meet all criteria to claim UBTC phase 2 or phase 2 grace period"

So, if you had btc balances at block height 498,777 and moved them after the 3 Jan snapshot you don't qualify. You HAVE to send the micro bitcoin payment, so if you emptied your address after 3 Jan you're out of luck.

That's stupid, if you moved your coins after 3 Jan, how can you send the micro btc verification now? Surely signing a message with the old keys proves ownership.

exactly my point! This forks smells scammy and still my question a few posts above is unanswered....
