Guys I am working on a new block explorer called www.rockchain.info

But I need your help, I will pay for the server and everything. If you can help join #unobtanium on free node

Much appreciated, we need to save this amazing substance called Unobtanium.

Hey Doges! You are the man! Nice way to step up. I'm willing to help and I'm sure others will too. I've been calling businesses and writing emails to let people know about UNO. I'll see you in the IRC.

Our block explorer is broken: stuck at block 44,974 from from November 2013. That is why our market cap dropped from about $600,000 to about $200,000 on Coinmarketcap. We also dropped from position 41 to position 56. We need to get this fixed ASAP. If people get used to us being listed at position 56, we will stay there, and we will never rise above it again. If this is a tactic to try to get people to buy more UNO, it is a dumb tactic because people will think that UNO is a cellar dweller not worth buying. If anyone has the power to fix this please do before the damage done is permanent.

BTW, the exact same thing happened to Noirbits last year (whether intentionally or unintentionally) and their price still hasn't recovered.  Their block explorer was stuck for months, and no one said anything.

We HAVE TO get our SH*T together and stop looking like a bunch of rank amateurs if we want this coin to rise to where we all know it belongs.

I was wondering what happened to the price! How can this be fixed?

The new design for the Unobtanium website looks fantastic: http://unobtanium.info/
It's very clean.

Awesome job, much excite \o/

+1.
I'm also very impressed by how fast the UNO sub-reddit arthurf created is taking off: http://www.reddit.com/r/Unobtanium/

Philogus, look at your reddit mail, you probably received a request to become a mod a couple of days ago.

I also added /u/JacobUX so he can help with the theme.

I will also add the UNO creator as a mod if he has or creates a reddit account.

Thanks Athurf! Done.

I just found the subreddit:

http://www.reddit.com/r/Unobtanium/

Also, can anyone suggest a good pool for mining this fucking space dust? I have some leftover ASICs this is looking like an insane coin. I can see the benefits of having a really small amount of coins. The block chain will be a breeze, and maybe even immune to dust?

I mine directly on the coinex.pw exchange.

By the way, I was able to get a wallet to sync at work finally for some reason. So I think it is a blocked port issue for people having trouble.

iSpace Unotanium Mining Pool still finding regular blocks at http://un.ispace.co.uk so why not join us?

We also offer a range of alternative ASIC friendly SHA256 stratum mining pools with VarDiff and a low 1% fee at http://ispace.co.uk .

My wallet is not synchronizing. Now add some nodes and even addresses of pools, but does not sync. Does anyone know what can be?

I'm using the latest version to my knowledge.

Regards.

I WILL demonstrate to others HOW TO LEAD.

 Roll Eyes

Lead then. Want to buy the Un from me so you can be the owner? 1BTC and you can have it all.
I'm not actually Cthulhu.

If I buy them off you, how do you feel about being Uno manager paid in Uno? Cheesy

P.S. Happy New Year and keep up the good work! It should be interesting in a few weeks when ASICs may well have to switch to alts such as this to remain profitable.

Awesome! Being able to transact with it creates a lot more utility for long-term viability!  Grin
On the CoinPayments site, there is a listing of sites and the coins that they accept.
https://www.coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=directory
UNO is listed, but its accepted in a limited way at present. I suspect the list will grow quickly. Might be worth contacting the shops listed, as they may not be aware yet. https://www.51attack.com already takes UNO, but prob. someone needs to design a UNO T-shirt!

I hadn't been able to get the wallet connected/updated today - it just sat on "No block source available", even with the .conf file from the OP... doctormandrake's suggestion worked for me in the end, though... Cheers!
