This coin explains a lot why Blazr2 is 'unobtainable' in the 'destroyer of the world' thread Cheesy

Actually, something odd when we try to post in that thread, it tells us our IP has been used in 10 seconds or less--never happens on any other thread. For this reason, we update the OP in that thread only and don't reply.

Nobody gives a shit. You don't like it? Leave this thread and don't mine the coin. I'm sure it will make it to Cryptsy and coinex.pw. Low block reward makes it valuable as hell. SHA-256 make it good for people coming off BTC, and the dev is active. I will be supporting this coin, and will be placing ads linking to the main site soon.

And code is working fine Smiley 1Un blocks found properly Smiley
Awesome work!

A few questions:
Is there anyway to cut down on the number of pool difficulty readjustments/work restarts?
How can we reduce the number of orphans/doa?
Will setting up a solo node if our has rate is below 5GH/s help?
In the recent blocks list, what does a blank ID mean?
Is there a reason why Peers graph is broken on the graph page?
1. no. Diff readjustment is every new share, it is also work restart - every 30s for pool and every 3 min for network. You can force HIGHER diff if you want using "+number" after user name.
2. I`m not sure what ure asking. If you have 5GH/s you can solo mine on diff 15k
3. I`m not really sure WHAT the ID is, it is NOT block number. Some of "blanks" are good. Just ignore it Tongue
4. Yes, P2pool code has been changed and ExtendedFrontend is not updated to work properly on it.
Feedback is on github from some time, looks like it is not maintaned any more. https://github.com/hardcpp/P2PoolExtendedFrontEnd/issues/22
Just look on front page to see how big pool is - atm only 3 nodes (my, 1 in, 1 out). Every node will connect to mine one anyway.

at 13570 difficulty what do you expect to mine? and if it ever gets on an exchange what wil it be worth?    personally i dont think its worth mining   at this   stage...       might never reach exchange if there are no miners soon..  and if it does will it be coinse lol

The "problem" in P2pool is when one node have majority of pool power. It is exactly like 51% attack in bitcoin network. But there we have like 90% attack.
Power full node can "own" share chain orphaning almost any share from other nodes.
In early P2pool start like we have now where we have like 3-4 nodes and one of them is 90% of pool any other smaller node will have big orphan ratio. When all small nodes will have more power than one big or users will do "balance" or any other pool switching between nodes it will be better. But until we not have like 10+ nodes and some distributed hashrate pool wide orphan ratio can be even 50%, I see that on ZET.
BUT in P2pool even orphaned share can find block, so only thing you have to watch is your node efficiency. It shows your doa/orphan ratio vs pool wide doa/orphan. If pool doa+orpahn ratio will be 50% and your is 40% you will have 120% effie Smiley

Orphaned shares, it's probably just psychological on my end.  I only have about 1.5g/hash, so whatever I find is lucky it doesn't get re written in the share chain.
