Here it is everyone! My birthday present to URX, just in time for making it within my goal of April 20, 2019 UTC launch.


URX.zone -- Beta version released "live" on April 20, 2019 (1 year exactly after genesis block). The site works best on desktop/laptop browser for now (need to fix mobile parallax scrolling issues).  This domain, as an example, can now be used for driving new user traffic from Google and Facebook for long term coin adoption, community growing, and act as a good www resource for the URX mining information. The active URX White Paper V1.0 is hosted here, and is now visible for any new prospective visitors. My gift to the community, running on a blazing fast Canadian 10Gbps fiber server with reverse proxy SSL CDN for fast worldwide access. Everyone globally should have good ping with this server response time. The ".zone" root DNS was chosen, as in the real world since 1960's, inside actual nuclear stations, the radioactive areas are typically classified as Zone 1, 2, 3, etc. and each zone has its own entry and PPE requirements for the workers. The URX.zone is quick and easy to remember, and will have actual physical brand power meaning to the global nuclear industry, as we ramp up development and take URX to the dark reaches of space.  #420 #URXzone

Happy birthday URX! This is adam from crypto.farm here. Made a fresh bitcointalk account today on April 20th 2019 -- #420

I have a birthday present for URX community, that I have been working on slowly the last few weeks....stay tuned. I'll post the present link in Discord when its ready, and eventually post it here. Big moves on the horizon for URX, remember folks this is a long term project, we have until 2087 until the last URX will be mined. For now I suggest everyone to keep mining the asset while the difficulty is low, and lets ramp up adoption and development activity to increase trading volume and expand into other markets for 2020. #1YearOld 

Why 420?
Figured in a decades time when people look back on this account, seeing it created on 420 might give a smile. This number has always brought me good luck. And it will bring URX good luck too. I personally can't wait to enjoy some high quality cannabis tonight, and open the mind into imagining URX's future application. Cannabis is totally legal now here in Canada, message me if any of you are ever visiting in Toronto area - I grow a few organic strains in my lab you can try! Although I must note, I have been a fairly recreational user my entire life throughout the system, where I managed to graduate with a Masters degree in materials engineering, and still to this day live an active healthy sports life. So don't judge! I have never seen anyone start a bar fight while stoned, booze on the other hand can make us mentally savage and blackout. URX on the other hand..well that can make you a radioactive cyborg leader.

just an update, work is in progress and the new algo implementation will be ready in  a few days

that would do the job but not easy to implement

I know its easy to say but harder to do but ...

Maybe there is a possibility to create a x16r equivalent of cpu-only algos...

Lets say we call it u235r ..and it will randomly switch algos from yescryptR16, R32, yespower , argon2ad , burgerhash etc ... just like x16r do with gpu algos...


I assume it requires hard skills to do that...

so what algo do you think would do the job, please post what you think would be the best

CPU mining is very interesting, but I can't name your project very rare.

Give them time, this is the only few remaining coins that is CPU only mining.. and development really takes time its not something that can be done in a few days.

Remember the wallet is open source (see github)
You are always welcome to do your own work on the algo, or any other aspect of the coin (Promotion, etc)
