There is no clear rhyme or reason... Some think that the admins of the exchanges have their own interest at heart and will only list whatever coin they themselves hold... There really isn't a pattern that one can point a finger at.

A little patience will go a long way. We are thinking big and ambitious guys, and we will get there.  Question is, where will you be when it happens.

How do we know Ben frank on the logo and any similarity to United States Dollar USD isn't the reason why the big exchanges are picking this coin up, as irrational as that may be it may be the truth because well, people aren't rational
I am just asking this because it seems to be the elephant in the room this coin SHOULD do well and SHOULD of been picked up by an exchange the devs are good the community is good. SO what is the reason this coin hasn't been put on a good exchange? Maybe They are scared. Maybe not, but if not then what?

well i think big vern gets paid to put the coins up why else would they take some really rubbish coins.  i'm glad USDe are NOT paying a big sum to get on there.

Guys, what do you say about c-cex.com?
It's an exchange from Russia, that accepts Payeer. That means people could make a bank transfer to buy USDe.

Exchange Rates will load as soon as we have Cryptsy API's (preferably USD/USDe or other fiat trading pairs, though BTC will do too  Wink )
Re: the whole 'e' discussion... Guys, this isn't the new logo. We are simply looking at updating our existing one, and only looking at the letter 'e'. The new 'e' or a revision of it, could in theory become a symbol for USDe.

Those of you with Androids, please test this wallet app, and let us know if you've found any bugs:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/h6ukcrsc45bxj9i/USDE-1.01.1.apk

Specifically test receiving coins, sending coins and sending a donation to the donation address, small amounts... thanks!

exchange rates does not load

other than that it works fine

The eagle and flag references will be removed by the end of today.  Web Dev ran into a database issue, which delayed publishing of the new site yesterday.  Should be finished today, along with first published articles.  Thanks for your input.

USDe team, I have a request that we could all benefit from: Please change the picture of the bird holding the flag on your site. It is really bad for multiple reasons:
1) It's a really poor Photoshop attempt, I can see the edges of where you cut and paste: There is no anti-aliasing to make it look like 1 piece.
2) The coin has perspective applied to it to make it look like a spacious element, but it is not showing edges of the coin, therefor it looks clearly Photoshopped.
3) Lens inconsistencies: The coin is more blurry than the bird.
4) Cheesiness issues: A bird holding the American flag in its mouth while holding the coin? Really?

This image is hurting the product because of its non-professional look and feel (the rest of the site is great, especially compared to other coins). This image was a massive doubt-point before I decided to get involved in USDe.

I know you are aware of this issue as you have previously stated that you are working on having a better image, but it's been quite a while. Just find a temporary replacement image in Google Images, it takes 2 seconds! But make sure it is better than your previous replacement (cheesy blurry image of people demonstrating while looking happy).

In my opinion this task should be top priority to be able to send out a serious message to the world. Let me know if you'd like any help with this.

Not trying to sound like a douche, just trying to help make our coin better! Keep up the good work!

Perhaps the XML file.  Which language?

Send me an e-mail with more details please.

I'll have Jay write you an email.

What details do you aim for in this case? Do you want us to send pointers at the incorrect and incomplete translation, or, send you details on where to send the values xml?

5) Patriotism issues: Showing a little bit of patriotism is fine, but this is too much! This will scare non-US alt-coin investors away. It could be quite cringy.

Like to write and want to contribute?

We are working with some very bright content creators and are currently reviewing submissions to be published; however given the abundance of talent in our user base (YOU), we'd like to invite those of you who would like to participate.

If you would like to see your work published and potentially reach hundreds of thousands (potentially millions in near future), and earn 5 - 20k USDe for each published article, please post them here and send them to [email protected] along with the name you'd like it published under and your USDe address.  If your submission is not used or published, you will still be tipped for your effort.

General Guidelines:

1) Refer to onion.com quality and cleverness of their articles.  If you can't write, but have some ideas that can be used for an article -- send them over too!
2) Use current worldwide (not U.S.-centered, we have a lot of these) trending events & news involving known political figures, important people and celebrities -- add a humorous/satirical twist to the story and make it about money. Goal is to contrast old world / currencies of yesterday / fiat against USDe.
3) USDe doesn't have to be mentioned by name, but it can be, as long as it's not blatantly sales'y.  Goal is to lead the reader to reach the logical conclusion on their own.
4) Articles should be respectful and profanity should not be used.
5) Extra credit is used where healthy humor, fiat-related facts, history, statistics and figures are intelligently intertwined with satire.

Happy Writing!   Cheesy

Looking forward to sharing good news with you guys this weekend!

GO USDe!!!

Couple of pages ago I made a statement, rhetoric question "Is Leaf the new Moon" ?

It was incomplete, I'm sorry that I wasn't clearly enough.

Moon -> is not the destination of Leaf, my comparison was to the Moon Coin .

Why this comparison?
Don't look at the Moon Charts only from this week, check those for the entire month.

Easy explanation -> Moon was listed at a value of 12 satoshi, went up to 17 satoshi and then down 0 satoshi . After a while, 7 days, it started to rise to 30 satoshi, and now it's 10 satoshi and decreasing, maybe to the same value 2-0 satoshis. tradition pump and dump.

Leaf follows the same patters. (same pumpers, same results)

I didn't knew that my comparison will make people, doubt my intentions, or that I could have other interests.

80% of the altcoins and purely bets. pumps and dumps all day long.

USDe is in that 20% of altcoins that are stable, that will have a steady rise. In fact, thats what we want to offers those Who have USDe's in they're pocket.

I am very gladly that I'm part of this community. I contributed a lot and I didn't asked for nothing in return. Every coin that it was donated I earned that.
Let's start building some trust.

Send me an e-mail with more details please.

@USD-e

Could you send me the values-nl folder of the android project?

I see an incomplete and faulty translation in my locale. Let me fix that.

It's a new wallet address.  You cannot port your windows, mac or any other QT Wallet address into your Android App.  It generates a new one for you just like your desktop Wallet...

Try emailing the Android wallet address to yourself via copy & paste.  That function is embedded in the wallet app, where you choose to receive coins and use the copy feature to copy the address to the clipboard, then e-mail.

This will be improved in the future once we add QR Code support to the Windows & Mac wallets.

Ahhh, then I was right about only changing the letter e and it not being a major change.

Does running two wallets with the same adress (1 windows, 1 android) give any problems?

I rewrite adress from my smartphone to windows-qt and it seems to be wrong.
