We at USDE want to help people and there are some people that need our help. We need to take care of people that serv our country. One of our followers was wounded several time in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is not able to work anymore. This person have been given the opportunity to receive a Service Dog to help him get around and help with his PTSD. The service dog company requires $1500 at contract signing and $8500 within 2 years, for a total of $10000. Currently he has the $1500 down but coming up with the rest will be rough. He will get some from the VA and some from other Veterans organizations, but it won't be enough. From the research he has been doing He is in need of $6500.
Mountain High Service Dogs is where he will be getting the dog from. Now as miners of USDE I believe we can help this person and to help this person I would already suggest that people start donating!!!

No one answered my question about this on page 218....
This is a good cause and I want to help out and donate, but before I do I would like someone to explain to me exactly how we will help the guy.
There is no exchange that converts USD to USDE... The guy cannot pay his bills with USDE... He probably needs the money NOW and not after a year... The only way to help right now is to go and dump the USDE(at a very low price) collected from the fundraiser and convert it to bitcoins, and even then the bitcoins have to be converted to USD because the dog service company will not accept bitcoins. Also, to raise a value of $6500 at current prices that's almost 2 million USDE... So, how can we help him with this fundraiser?
You're right. We will sell those coins for bitcoins, of course we will sell those coins in a structure way so that it doesn't crash USDE, so today we will sell 100K, tomorrow another 100K,.... also when you check how much BTC are being traded then i don't think like selling 2M shares will drop the price a lot when you do that in several steps. Those bitcoins can easily be changed in real dollars, there are enough places where you can change your coins in real dollars, kraken.com for example is one of those places. It is correct that he needs this money as soon as possible, but if we can manage it in a few months then it will help him already a lot.
One option for example is to auction the coins in a thread here in bitcointalk, or ebay, for $payment ^^
