i think your decision to stop trading saved everyone here a lot of panic and distress, and gave you the required time and peace of mind to investigate and come with a sustainable fix
it's very common for coins to suspend. I will also ask trex have a period where they turn the wallets back on but not turn on trade matching. that will allow the orderbooks to readjust
Via is worth $1.35MM. I have no choice but to do whatever I can to protect the markets - it's what happens in the world outside crypto too.
Hats off to the exchanges for being so willing to co-operate with coin developers.

I'm on a mac but after installing this new version I still see the same version number v0.10.1.0-g07dfc4c. Same goes if I check in the console (get info). Please advise.

I have requested exchanges to suspend trading for a day while we investigate some network issues which are causing viacoin nodes to ban other viacoin nodes causing some network isolation.
I will keep you up to date on the blog, but I feel this was the most responsible thing to do to ensure the integrity of the network.

The blocks 42513 - 42587 that the pool found all went to orphan. Just wondered what happened.?
