I'm seeing huge cpu usage from viacoind, over 90%

It's compiled from source on Ubuntu 64 bit

Code:
 "version" : 101100,
 "protocolversion" : 70002,
 "walletversion" : 60000,

Any ideas?
won't help much without a debug log. Matter of fact you should download the latest beta wallet. Version 0.13.2.1

You are using 0.10.11 which is old.

So the master branch is old?

Updating to dev branch fixed it - thanks.

Or has experience enough to help me.

Edit: found someone who is helping to set one up. I will update later when there's more process.

Is there an ETA of when Styx should be up and running? Fully anonymous transactions are a great feature and should get Viacoin some proper attention.
After Segwit it would be much easier to give some sort of a time prediction.

so we still have segwit and the anonymous implementation to go right?
yes
Currently trying to solve the auxpow bug.
I also asked the Syscoin devs, and they are looking into it.
A Dev who helped me with auxpow is back, and he's going to try to solve it too.

If it's solved, we can finally signal for SegWit

is there rally a bug or is that f2pool guy trying to play you? Maybe he is even doing this to accumulate? How do you even know there is a bug?

There have been some huge accumulations over the last couple of weeks indeed.

Apparently Syscoin devs couldn't find the bug that F2pool reported.... the plot thickens

Isn't the original dev of p2pool nowhere to be found ? At least that's what I heard

Looking at the p2pool repo, that certainly seems to be the case. After quickly reading through the BTC p2pool thread, it seems jtoomim is in the process of forking & working on a larger blocksize for p2pool, so maybe sewit will folow shortly after, he does want it to remain altcoin compatable, which is a good sign.

I always have a trust in this coin and I expect Dev will not lose my trust on your project.

I and others are merge mining VIA using a fork of p2pool - do you know if the AUXPOW bug in new wallet has been tested with p2pool yet? If not, maybe I can try running it to see if the bug is apparent? As far as I know, p2pool is still not ready for segwit yet (the latest version - I'm using an older version/fork of p2pool). It would be better to wait for the majority of pools to be segwit ready, otherwise VIA could lose hash rate, leaving FUPool as the only pool able to mine it. Not ideal.
Isn't the original dev of p2pool nowhere to be found ? At least that's what I heard. I know every nomp pool and unomp pool supports Segwit (If they update). Prohashing seems to be Segwit ready.
Waiting for someone to come up with a P2Pool Segwit implementation, I'm not sure if it's going to happen.
