No it should work regardless.
Try to double check that you are watching the correct address for the tokens. It should be 0x4DF812F6064def1e5e029f1ca858777CC98D2D81.

You can also search your address here to check your XAUR balance.

If your address doesnt show on etherscan then you most likely sent to the wrong address. If it does show your balance then problem should be the address you are watching.
There are several addresses with 1.5 XAUR. Yours should be one of them as there is 0.5 XAUR in transfer fee.

Thanks for the visual tutorial. Mist takes long time to sync and takes huge disk space. I would prefer to stay with myetherwallet as of now.

You cant transfer the tokens yet so I havent tested it myself but I will tell you when I have my tokens on there. It should be later today.
Worst case scenario is that you would have to upload your wallet to Mist. As you have acces to your private key you wont loose any tokens.

Just tested it and MyEtherWallet works fine with XAUR tokens.

I transferred 2 XAUR to MyEtherWallet but I still don't see it.
I have being waiting 2 hours. Is this normal? Thanks,

Try opening your send token interface on your wallet. They should be listed there.

Looking at the wallet overview mine does not list them either. On my test transfer it did actually list them but after I sent the rest, the XAUR amount on the overview went blank.
On my wallets without XAUR it does say 0 XAUR.

bittrex and poloniex is a great option to be listed on exchanges
its good for xaurum community and xaurum.

The last minting was at 0.040xxx$. To increase the goldvalue of the tokens the market price needs to be at least 0.059$

So when it hits the market the price should be at least 0.04$ (some early investors got them a little bit cheaper 0.038$ iirc). But we should really aim for at least 0.059$ to get our token value to grow.

Excited to see Xaurum to be on the exchange sites.
To be listed on bittrex is my best bet, there no better exchange than it and polo but it may also be listed on c-cex as XAU is there since then. Anyone knew how much is each XAUR as of now?

Is the Goldmine the mining pool?

As far as I can tell yes. From what I read its a multipool with payout in Xaurum.
