XDAG Community Developer Regular Meeting Minutes (34th)
March 31, 2024
On March 30, 2024, XDAG community developers held the 34th regular meeting. Participants communicated and arranged the recent development work of the community:
Ⅰ. Work review
1. The XDAG V0.7.0 Hummingbird upgrade was successfully completed, and the mainnet has been running smoothly, which has been fully recognized by community enthusiasts. Miners no longer need a proxy to connect to the mining pool, the hardware requirements for mining pool operation are further reduced, and the increase in handling fees makes the network more secure from attacking.
2. Promote the establishment of community public nodes and provide convenience for community enthusiasts to freely create mining pools.
Ⅱ. Follow-up plan
1. Start XRC-20 research and development work (updated to the community roadmap on official website).
2. Upgrade the transfer fee from fixed to variable to prioritize transfers and lay the foundation for the implementation of XRC-20 (updated to the community roadmap).
3. Try to promote XMRig mining software to support XDAG algorithm.
4. Announce community public nodes.

Ⅰ. 工作回顾
1.成功完成XDAG V0.7.0蜂鸟升级，主网平稳运行至今，得到了社区爱好者们的充分肯定。矿工不再需要代理连接矿池，矿池运行的硬件要求进一步降低，手续费的增加使得网络更加安全；
2.推动搭建社区公共节点，为社区爱好者自由创建矿池提供便利
Ⅱ. 后续计划
1.开启XRC-20研发工作(已更新至社区路线图)；
2.将转账手续费由固定转为可变，实现转账优先级的排序，为实现XRC-20打下基础(已更新至社区路线图);
3.尝试推动XMRig软件支持XDAG算法;
4.公布社区公共节点

XDAG V0.7.0 Mainnet Upgrade Announcement
After three rounds of public testing in the community, the XDAG V0.7.0 mainnet upgrade is ready. The relevant work arrangements for the upgrade are as follows:
Ⅰ Upgrade time
Start time: March 16th 12:00 (UTC+0)
Ending time: subject to announcement (estimated to be 3 hours)
Snapshot data: Data at 12:00 on March 16, 2024 (UTC+0)
Upgraded version: XDAGj-V0.7.0
Ⅱ Impact Assessment
This mainnet upgrade will have the following impacts:
A. Wallet users:
Clear historical transfer data before the wallet snapshot time point
B. Trading platform:
Please stop the node running in advance and upgrade to version 0.7.0 later. If the trading platform adopts the transfer reserve deposit method, please process the user's account application before the main network upgrade time to avoid disputes.
Ⅲ Upgrade content
1. Separation of mining pools and nodes
2. Mining pools are removed from the whitelist and users can build their own mining pools.
3.Set a 0.1 transfer fee
4. According to the consensus reached by the community Apollo project, 5% of the node main block donation will be implemented to support community.
Ⅳ Other matters
1. Mainnet services will be suspended during the upgrade.

Dear community members, the third round of open beta in the community is now open. We hope that everyone will actively participate in this open beta. The public beta matters are arranged as follows:

1. Freely build a mining pool (newly added).
Community members can freely build mining pools through github steps. Reference steps for building a mining pool:

2. Ordinary users can verify the transfer and mining functions. Each transfer is charged a fixed fee of 0.1 XDAG (wallet balance > 0.1) for the transfer amount;
3. The mining pool owner verifies the mining pool functions: miner connection, mining, computing power estimation, cumulative reward calculation, distribution and other mining pool functions. The mining reward distribution method of the mining pool is changed to be distributed every 5 minutes, and the miner's cumulative reward will be transferred out after >3 XDAG.

On December 30, 2023, XDAG community developers held the 31st regular meeting. Participants communicated on the recent development work of the community:
Ⅰ. Work review
1. Complete the code development work for XDAG independent mining pool and node transfer fees, main block donation and other functions;
2. Complete developers testing work;
3. Assist new trading platforms (Xeggex & Nonkyc.io ) to complete technical docking.
Ⅱ. Follow-up plan
1. Community public beta will be launched soon
2. Continue to improve and optimize the new version of node and mining pool code
3. Discuss the docking details with XDAG Hub contributors and advance the XRC-20 and AMM protocol initiatived by the Community on this June.
4. Promote the release of the Linux version of XDAG Pro, and follow up plans to support the built-in browser function.

1. A new enthusiast has taken the initiative to apply to develop the Chrome plug-in wallet, and has well communicated with the community. Crowdfunding will be launched in the near future to encourage developers to contribute to the community;
2. Reconstruct the XDAG network protocol to improve synchronization efficiency;
3. Complete the development of node transfer fees and main block donation code;
4. XDAG co-branded the Eastern Football Club successfully completed its first Douyin live broadcast game, with about 20,000 live fans on the stadium and about 3,000 online viewers on Douyin. The next live broadcast will be held on October 2.

It's very pleased to inform the community that after passing the community public beta, the XDAG V0.6.5 mainnet upgrade is ready, and the arrangements for the mainnet upgrade are as follows:
