XDAG Community Developer Regular Meeting Minutes (25th)

At 21:30 on the evening of July 1, 2023, the developers of the XDAG community held the 25th regular meeting, and the participants communicated about the recent development work of the community:

Ⅰ. Work Review
1. Successfully assist the new trading platform to complete the technical docking work;
2. Release XDAGj version 0.6.4 to solve and optimize the synchronization problem and efficiency of the main network nodes, and greatly reduce the synchronization time;
3. Start the XRC-20 and AMM protocol design work.

Ⅱ. Short-term plan
1. The code development of the XDAG node to increase the transfer fee has been completed, and the mining pool separation work has been started simultaneously. After the developer test is completed, the community public test is initially expected to be carried out in late July;
2. Start the new UI design and development of XDAG Pro PC version;
3. Continue the release procedure work of XDAG Pro wallet in the IOS app store. It is expected that the application for the IOS enterprise developer account will be completed in the near future, which will be a substantial step towards the successful release of the XDAG Pro IOS wallet.

1. 顺利协助交易平台完成技术对接工作；

1. 已完成XDAG节点增加转账手续费代码开发，并同步开始矿池分离工作，在完成开发者测试后，初步预计7月下旬进行社区公测;

 At 21:30 on the evening of May 27, 2023, the developers of the XDAG community held the 24th regular meeting, and the participants communicated about the recent development work of the community:

 Ⅰ. Work review
 1. Completed the Crowdfunding Task of the Exchange listing fee and proceed the Exchange pre-listing work;
 2. Successfully listed XDAG on UUBiter trading platform.

 Ⅱ. Short-term plans
 1. Sorted out the plan of increasing transfer fees and mining pool separation from nodes, and preliminarily expected to complete code development by the end of June;
 2. Fully promote the release of the XDAG- Pro wallet in the IOS app store.  In order to solve the difficulty of releasing wallets on IOS, the community will try to establish a legal entity to meet the requirements for IOS enterprise developer accounts.  The legal entity and accounts mentioned will be under the supervision and management of the community self-government team.

At 21:30 on the evening of May 6, 2023, the developers of the XDAG community held the 23rd routine meeting, and the participants communicated about the recent development work of the community:
Ⅰ. Work review
1. The mainnet of XDAG 0.6.3 has been successfully upgraded and has been running smoothly for about a month, and the data of various indicators are normal;
2. Completed the crowdfunding and release of the new generation of cross-platform wallets. Community members are generally satisfied with the user experience and UI design of the new wallet, and the response is enthusiastic;
3. Release the XDAG 2023 technical roadmap, and the community autonomous team will promote the development work in the order of the roadmap.

Ⅱ. Current plan
1. Start the separation of XDAG node and mining pool functions, and iteratively develop the basic functions of the mining pool on the basis of the existing Proxy agent;
2. Promote the development of transfer fees and main block donations, and the main block donation percentage parameters will be determined after subsequent community voting;
3. Optimize the data synchronization efficiency between XDAG nodes and solve the problem of slow synchronization;
4. Due to the requirements of IOS in the release of blockchain wallet applications, only enterprise developer accounts can be accepted. Individual developer accounts is excluded. XDAG, as an open source community, has no legal entity organization, and currently does not meet the release requirements for IOS wallets . Follow-up will continue.

Ⅰ.工作回顾
1. XDAG 0.6.3主网已成功升级并平稳运行了一个月左右，各项指标数据正常;
2. 完成新一代跨平台钱包的众筹及发布工作，社区成员对新钱包的用户体验及UI设计普遍非常满意，反响热烈;
3. 发布XDAG 2023年技术路线图，社区自治团队将按照路线图顺序推动开发工作。

Ⅱ.近期计划
1. 启动XDAG节点与矿池功能分离工作，将在现有Proxy代理的基础上迭代开发矿池基本功能;
2. 推进转账手续费及主块捐赠的开发工作，主块捐赠百分比参数将在后续进行社区投票后确定;
3. 优化XDAG节点间数据同步效率，解决同步慢的问题;
4. 由于IOS在发布钱包类应用方面管理非常严格，只能接受企业开发者账号发布，个人开发者账号没有发布此类应用权限，XDAG作为开源社区并没有实体组织，目前不满足发布IOS钱包条件。后续将持续跟进。

XDAG 0.6.1 Mainnet Upgrade Announcement

We are pleased to announce that after successfully passing two rounds of public testing, the XDAG 0.6.1 mainnet upgrade is ready, and the arrangements for the mainnet upgrade are as follows:

Ⅰ Upgrade arrangement
Start time: April 9, 08:00 (UTC+0)
End time: To be determined (expected to be 3 hours, subject to subsequent announcement)

Upgrade version: XDAG-Java-0.6.1

Ⅱ Stable operation period
Since this upgrade is a major update, a stable runtime period needs to be set for the main network.
The stable operation period means that the main network must run stably for a period of time (3 days) after the upgrade to version 0.6.1. If major unpredictable issues occur in the network during this period, the community developers reserves the right to restart with the original data. Meanwhile, no transfer operation is recommended during the stable operation period.

April 9 08:00 - April 12 08:00 (UTC+0)

Ⅲ User use
After upgrading to 0.6.1 mainnet, users need to download the latest PC wallet import backup file for normal usage of wallet.

Ⅳ Major improvements
1. Remove address blocks. Creating a wallet no longer requires a link to a mining pool.
2. Newly created wallet will comply with BIP32 BIP44 standard.
3. Newly created wallet support the mnemonic.

V Attention
1. Old version wallet restrictions
Due to the non-compliance with BIP32 &BIP44 standard, old version wallets need to be imported into new wallets and will not be supported the mnemonic function, and the old wallets only support transfer out, not transfer in coins.
Foundation wallet addresses, developer donation addresses, trading platform wallet addresses and other wallet addresses used to receive transfers must be created with new wallets.
2. Android wallet export
Before upgrading to 0.6.1 on the main website, if your Android wallet is not yet backed up, please upgrade to version 0.3.1 (backup export function added to the login page) and please export the backup file to your computer wallet for use. ( V0.3.1 Android wallet download address will be announced in the near future)

Ⅱ 稳定运行期
由于此次升级属于重大更新，需设定主网稳定运行期。
稳定运行期是指升级到0.6.1版本后主网须稳定运行一段时间（3天），若期间网络出现不可预知的重大问题，社区自治团队保留用原始数据重新启动的权力。同时，在稳定运行期内不建议进行转账操作。

V  Important reminder
1. Please strictly distinguish the test data from the main net data, never confuse them, otherwise you will be responsible for the consequences

On February 25, 2023, 21:30 pm, the XDAG Community held its 22nd regular meeting, and the participants communicated about the recent development of the project.
I. Technical progress
1. The community has just released 0.5.5 public test version for nearly a week, the feedback channels of Discord and Github have not received any problem report, which reflects the stability of the version, the development work of meticulous;
2. Since the number of users involved in test net mining is relatively small, we need to further motivate the community to participate in test net mining in version 0.5.5, and subsequently plan to organize some test net mining competition promotion;
