What's the "random keys" the client asks at first run?

Just any characters used for generation of random data like your private keys.

Can I obtain my own private key after that?

Now mining is going very well. Hundreds of coins in 1 hour. Is there a max supply?

516mil every year for first 4 years. getting halved every 4 years. max supply, which is 4bn, gonna be reached in 160 years.

I am mining at latest IP pool (199.16.31.96:3355 ) since 6 hours: no balance at all. Is it normal?

you mean 0? what does the "state" says?

"Mining ok."

I see the address but balance always stays at zero.

The payment isn't constant, it only pays after a few minutes when finds a block.

6 hours is definetely much more than few minutes.

 Cheesy it definitely is.
Well, hard to tell, you can try asking at discord group.
Are you using latest wallet? Maybe you're using the pool which has low hashrate and very unlucky to find no blocks?..

Could you please update pools on first post?

I am using those written here:

54.37.158.221:13654    (1%-5%-10%)
109.90.229.170:35585  (1%-1%-1%)
45.63.58.16:13654       (1%-5%-10%)
52.5.32.68:13654         (1%-5%-10%)
199.16.31.96:3355       (1%-1%-1%)

Which one has most hashrate?

The second one

Second one is working, thanks.

"Connected to the mainnet pool. Mining ok. Normal operation."

I still have a few questions:
1. I can solo to get coin? Or how to set up your pool.
2. Which pool is the most stable.
3. Where can I view the statistics of my wallet? That is, what is the number of blocks I found. Interesting Grin
1. No, you cannot mine solo now. And you cannot set up a pool now. Probably later.
3. Only very simple viewer of account balances is available now http://52.5.32.68:13656/cgi-bin/balance.cgi

For a week I could earn 140K coins. I think this is a good result. Smiley

All pools should be similar

just set up a windows or linux VM and allocate all cpu to it to mine.
It is not so efficient. Perfomance will be lower.

It shouldn't be, at least not more than a negligible loss.

CPU instruction should be passthrough to the VM, how much worse could it be? It's not like gpu mining that really should be done natively
