Volume is around 100 BTC. The lowest rate I have ever seen.

The volume hit 50 BTC a month ago or so. Most projects stay dormant like this until more developments happen from the already hardworking devs, then the huge spike comes in and these levels will never be seen again which also comes with people being angry as they had plenty of time to buy in low. All you need to do is wait and or accumulate as much XEL as you can.

Well that means there is something...I think this little diamond will gonna rock and I it wil blow a lot of shitty ico that are over promoted by people who only thinks of dollars.

So low volume is a good sign. People are working on the product in all silence.

I'm just holding on to my XEL because I think EK is a sexy looking dude.
But for real, the guy is super talented and patience pays.

It's a shame people sell all their XEL with loss now, instead being patient and belive in this great project. Hopefully XEL will moon soon and proof these guys wrong.

The best feeling when people sell their XEL at these levels and unbelievably even lower, then a few weeks afterwards it is so much higher. Please keep filling my buy orders. This is the best project to accumulate, never had so much luck while day trading. Excited about the future for Elastic and the brilliant devs hard work.

Has anyone successfully forged anything with XEL? I have a decent amount of XEL (~2 BTC worth) in my local wallet. I have forged several blocks but havent gotten any rewards. Is this tx-fee based rather than a typical POS style?

It's tx fee based. When there are no txs, there are no fees.

you have to wait for the full release to earn something

I am very interested in this project. Supercomputer  is a fantastic application of blockchain technology and among all elastic designs is the one that allows multiple solutions. I hope that developers can complete what they started. I am not ready to invest but I follow closely. I see an accumulation phase I think its value can go up in the netx months. I will buy when I see a strong sign of pump.

I was just wondering about forging XEL (1000 tokens).
Someone can help me about this?

Thank you a lot

Supercomputer Powered by Blockchain Technology Golem (GNT) vs. Elastic (XEL)
https://steemit.com/supercomputer/@roc/supercomputer-powered-by-blockchain-technology-golem-gnt-vs-elastic-xel

Looks like Golem will be stuck with their rendering use case little longer  Cheesy

But really not sure about this one for XEL

Despite of the absence of a clear roadmap, they are going to have a major release in 1~2 weeks.

Where is this info coming from? Anyone can confirm the release?

I think that bit of the article is 'artistic license'.  ;-)

Good article.  Clear and informative.

Interesting what one of the commenters says about Gridcoin:

"......commercial operators just don't want to trust unknown actors with their data processing, so open science projects is the mainstay of work on Gridcoin."

I like the fact that there are multiple competing "supercomputer" projects. The competition will push the actual development of this important crypoto real application area!

Yeah a lot of supercomputer projects but they compare themselves to ETH on their web site... It would make more sense it they would compare to SONM, Golem etc.

I just found out about this project, and it's caught my attention.
Could someone tell me what more this is bringing to the table than iExec RLC for example ?

I think it is negligent and misleading to give such time frames as mentioned in that "article". The only people who can do that said clearly (and understandably so) they will not give such time frames. Looks like cheap manipulation attempt to me until proven otherwise.

I agree that competition is good.  It's interesting to see all the different approaches to leverage blockchain tech for distributed computing.
