I think that a CPU-only algo is very important for phone mining (and storage-mining too actually), and I see a huge user base potential for such an algo in the future.

Very important, like the best fast way to kill phones with overheat)

Are some pools mining on wrong chain? So later those mined coins will disappear?

I mean mining in some pool, earned some xmg, pool showed that it sent them to me, but they are not in wallet with new blockchain  Undecided

I mined hundreds of coins these days and they were sent, but didn't reach my wallet. So pool is mining on wrong chain and I will never see those coins in the wallet?

you will never receive them unfortunately.

If the pool you are mining on isn't on the dev blockchain, then you will not earn any valid coins.  If this same pool that you cashed out of tried to do so on the incorrect blockchain, then the blocks containing your cashout will be orphaned.

is this still active?

depends what your asking what part is active.

is the coin active? hmmmmm its like a cockroach with a few missing limbs
is there active unfairness in mining on the coin. Hell yes like a homer eating all the donuts in Springfield
are the devs active in the wrong areas? OH yes a big yes. like the satan sitting on your shoulder whispering your eat kill all humans!!!

oh wait thats my satan Tongue

but you get the idea.

Is minerclaim going to do anything about the whales? i mean the users with very high hashers?

This is a frequently asked question.

Just a few months ago, we warned and banned users who violated the rules. But this caused an enormous time and effort which we were not able to cope with since there is currently no technical limitation.

After banning those whales we saw many of these users on other pools. So - its only a solution for a very short period of time.
We can inform users more about the high rates - but there's always a way. These whales have the capacity to do solo mining.

So Minerclaim's solution is to do next to nothing? We can inform these whales about how what they're doing is unfair until our faces turn blue, but the main issue is that they don't care.

Nor should they really care. They must be doing it because it's in their self interest - and that's all that matters to them. The solution has to be on the development side. I don't know that there really is a solution but it does need to be approached from the dev side of things. Anything on the mining pool side of things is a very temporary bandaid solution.

asking the devs to do something about it is like asking a chicken to give you a golden egg.

1.4.6.2 can't mine POW, there is a bug in code (coinbase timestamp is too early):
Code:
MagiMiner:

Probably 1.4.6.1 have same bug since "coinbase timestamp is too early" error not linked with POW block reward size.
