Welcome in our friendly Magi community amigo.
First nobody is loosing their coins in own wallet.
There are some improvements dev is working on.
And no problem you can always ask any question here.

But this virus can steal wallet.dat and password you typing. And your coins.
I am using 1.3.1 client for windows.

If you downloaded from the official website and you dont have to worry, anti virus programs can do this sometimes because of sometype of script thats why you need to download thise kind of stuff from the official sites

Personal i think every currencies will have some issues sooner or later but most important for a currency is that if something happend the dev, team & community work on it and try to fix it asap.

If i look at Magi i'am very proud on our dev, team & community. Magi received the highest score on the trust verification in 2014. After that our developer worked next on his busy job on Magi & is doing very well. Specially this year with the new website, relaunch of the standalone payment gateway & great looking roadmap.

So what i try to say is; no worries amigo.
Give Joe little time and trust.
If you can not recover your coins i will personal give those to you!

After 5 attempts, finally my wallet is fully synced.... but lost my 4,907 Magi, and we lost 560 on minerclaim with this issue. This is sad, and not fair. We was creating a community to start mining this coin here in Venezuela, where the gpu hardware is very spensive, and the CPU coins are a good option, and i I chose this for its potential but But the facts show that I was wrong. I agree with Myth888, we can not promote a coin if we lost money in our firts try on it. Sorry about my English.

I see, 4/60 virus checkers come back with a warning - probably a false positive, I know Kaspersky is pretty trigger happy - I get false positives a lot when dealing with minerd executables - I'm sure Joe will be able to explain.

I had the same problem and by typing checkwallet followed by repairwallet into the console tab in the magi wallet restored my hard earned coins

Did you try that already?

I hope that you manage to get your coins back...

For my personal wallet i downloaded the new Magi wallet and downloaded the blocks from zero.
It took 24 hours but without issues & all coins are still there!
