Warning: Bluetrade did not respons to my messages and deleted Magi from the exchange. (Very strange)
You can still withdraw XMG there. Don't wait too long. If keep on trying to contact them to receive the information why they did this. But looks like they are less active lately. Not a single tweet on there twitteraccount in April. (@Bleutrade).

For Windows x32 and x64 which miner is recommended? cheers

Thanks all for helping

I like and I use m-minerd. The links from Magi's website:

Windows (64 bit)
Windows (32 bit)
Geezz... trying to set this up but is not working  Undecided Please correct me if I wrong which I'm sure I am... the highlighted url is where the minerpool url should go, right? in this case I left it as it was. Then I went to http://mining.m-hash.com/ and created an account plus one worker. Lets say the worker's name is "Alex", password "123456" and poolweb acc name "Kim". Should the "Worker or RPC Username" box be filled with only "Alex" or "Alex.Kim"? obviously I'm doing something wrong because I keep getting "Miner failed to start"
Thanks guys for your help, hopefully I can donate you all if I get to mine one day...

You try to set up somthing other, not m-minerd. You try to set up somthing other, not m-minerd. I've given a link to console program but you've shown a screenshot with grafic interface.

m-minerd

You'll need to create a batch file to start your miner.

Simply open notepad and then copy and paste the following:

Code:
m-minerd -a m7mhash -o stratum+tcp://mine.magipi.tk:4444 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

You then need to change "-u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password" to reflect your own account. Eg, "-u Kim.Alex -p 123456" then go to "File > Save as" and save the file as "RunMe.bat" in the same folder containing your miners application files. You are now ready to mine, double click on "RunMe.bat" to start mining

Very nice Cryptonaire.  I got in the last two POI's, and also
bought more magi just to increase rewards from both staking
and POI.  I also visit the cryptospout hourly faucet quite a bit,
for some more earnings.

I would like to see magi incorporated into a game like dknight2.com

Or someone could make a "slot machine faucet" for magi that pays
out 101% (paid by advertising perhaps, with limits of course).

I like the POI campaigns!  It gives people another reason to hold onto their coins for a long time, which i think is good for the coin.

I think the low PoS rewards are necessary to avoid too much inflation.  But the coins do stake nicely (my peercoins might never stake, for instance LOL)  Smiley

I have to agree Coins-R-Us, the POI campaigns are awesome!  I have only ever participated in the latest one (POI.3) as I came a wee bit late to the XMG party compared to most of you. I am really glad that I discovered this coin, and just in time to get into POI.3 too.  After I registered for POI.3 I doubled my Magi holdings just to maximise the benefit I would derive from the campaign (and I have never sold a single XMG), so your view about the benefit of these campaigns to Magi is a sound one.

I have just received my payout, and I am well pleased with it!   Grin  Here's hoping another campaign can be organised sometime later this year; I'm in!!
Thank you Cryptonaire. I really appreciate the feedback!

I'm trying figure out whether its worthwhile to mine MagiCoin with my 32 CPU core machine. I found this mining calculator:

https://bitmakler.net/MagiCoin___mining

but I can't find numbers for Difficulty and Block Reward. Can anyone point me to a more complete calculator, or help me fill in the blanks?
