You most likely haven't followed a proper extraction guide.
Were you connected to a local node while extracting?

There is a fix for these, and if you have used the official wallet, you should have surely got your 10x coins -

It all depends long term on whether the fee market is adequate to support a network (with coins like Bitcoin and XMV) vs XMR's 0.6 infinite emission curve.
