The PoS phase will still be some time from now (Q3 2018.) But we're thinking about going full PoS. There could be a transition period where SHIELD is both.

check if you imported all your private keys from electrum addresses where coins is located

I had 700+k XSH in wallet 2.2.4, now installed wallet ver 3, imported private key, original address is present in new wallet, but balance is only ~ 4.85 XSH, which I mined yesterday. I had not checked web Block explorer before, but when I check now, it show only 4.859813 XSH .
