Oizopower , Thanks for you answer.

Can you modify the text BLK to XWC in XWC wallet for non-English languages text .
The wallet always shows black coin when guys of non-English  opened XWC wallet.

I think that  is an important thing, Otherwise people have no confidence to invest XWC.

If you need some text translation. You can feel free contact me.  My email:[email protected]

We don't need to do anything if our coins have just been on Bittrex?  They have already been autos-swapped?

Yes , The coins on Bittrex have been auto-swapped.
Please do NOT send the coins from Bittrex to your Legacy wallet, they will be lost in limbo.

We recently found out that if this happens (a users send from bittrex to the legacy wallet) you can still retreive them Smiley
Just export the privkey from your legacy wallet and import it into the new v2.0.0.0

So we need to change the limbo message and will include this in a FAQ on our new website with some guidethrough. Smiley

Good news, but i have a qustion how to burn the rest of coin?

We will burn the coins through OP_RETURN, you can ask dev0tion more about this.
OP_RETURN is a script opcode used to mark a transaction output as invalid. Since any outputs with OP_RETURN are provably unspendable, OP_RETURN outputs can be used to burn coins.

Some swap statistics:

Bittrex swapped: 170375038.389429
Manual swapped: 69347416.37739998

Total pre-mine v2.0.0.0: 313000000
Total swapped: 170375038.389429 + 69347416.37739998 = 239722454.766829
Current amount now that will be burned (12 more days):  = 313000000 - 239722454.766829 + 2 (stake) = 73277547.233171

Left in wallet v2.0.0.0: 73277547.22707102 (bit lower because of tx fees)

Days left: ~12 days

Have taken any another step forwards for XWC wallet.
Can you modify other languages from BLK to XWC in XWC wallet  as soon as possible, this is an important thing,It shows BLK wallet when someone come from non-English countries used the last version of XWC wallet.

why is that a problem? blk went sky high early in its history + had some strong hands supporting it, so with all that money available, of course they could dev some good stuf, and become a high standard that those with less backing can (in the open source world) turn to

Okay so I have some legacy XWC from 2014, how do I go about the swap? I don't have the old wallet anymore but still have the .dat

Thank you FixItDad for you're answer ! much appreciated.

Instamined, you can download the legacy wallet here : https://github.com/Whitecoin-org/archive_Whitecoin_old/releases/tag/1.1.2.3
after that you can open it once and close it down.

as FixItDad  says is correct. Download the blockchain, and place the unpacked files including the wallet.dat in your "%appdata%\Whitecoin" folder
Let it sync and follow the manual swap process in the document linked by FixItDad

if you need more help feel free to ask us here or directly in slack

Okay so I have some legacy XWC from 2014, how do I go about the swap? I don't have the old wallet anymore but still have the .dat
Check your down load folder you may still have the wallet program there to reload
if you do fire it up then shut it down and get this file for block chain (link below)
https://github.com/Whitecoin-org/xwc-blockchain/releases
Find your app data roaming folder and replace with the above link you down loaded
the flow the instructions for the change over

IF YOU DONT HAVE THE OLD WALLET IN YOUR DOWN LOADS FIND A FRIEND WHO MAY
AND COPY AND PASTE OR GET THEM TO EMAIL IT TO YOU!

Just went through the ann again.

White coin has it's own operating system which is being developed, that is something I missed and is really interesting.

Looking forward to seeing WhiteOS becoming more popular in the future.  Cool

what is the swap ratio

1/1

thats if you can swap them because it has some bug in the wallet that says too many inputs for some people

not sure where the dev team are because they have not been seen on this thread for about a month

i got most swapped over but have a few left that wont send...........hopefully the dev team will show up at some point here.

Hello cryptohunter,

I'm also in the Whitecoin team and you can see a post from me if you scroll a little bit up Wink

If you have some problems with the wallet (too many inputs), then you have to join them first.
If you enable the coin control feature, then you can exactly select, which inputs you want to use.
You can only join a maximum of 1000 inputs I think.
So enable coin control feature, select 500 of the coin packets and send them to your own address.
Do this until you have only 1 packet left and then you can swap this packet also.

If you want to talk to one of the developers (oizopower / devotion), you can join us on Slack by entering your eMail address at this site:
https://xwcslack.herokuapp.com/

Sorry, if we cannot solve every problem through bitcointalk, but as you know, everybody has also a real life which sometimes takes most of the available resources. Smiley

Banger
My wallet v1.1.0.0 only allows 67 inputs through the coin control and does not let me exceed -9994 bytes,
once i exceed the bytes limit over 10,000 transfer/transaction fails

Hi XWC stakers..
I have an even older wallet 1.1.0.0
is it necessary for me to update to the
whitecoin legacy wallet(1.1.2.3)
prior to starting any transfer?
FID

Hello FixItDad,

No, this is not necessarily needed.
But if you are not fully synced you can download the latest blockchain file here, this should save you a lot of time.:

https://github.com/Whitecoin-org/xwc-blockchain/releases

Thank you!

MY RED TRUST LEFT BY SCUMBAGS - READ MY SIG
I have a wallet dat with 45k stuck inside.... too many inputs error even on tiny amounts.
Can I email this wallet.dat to someone in the core team and they just forward the coins to a new whitcoin address i supply after?

Hello cryptohunter,

I can have a look for you, just send the wallet.dat (unencrypted) to swap[at]whitecoin.info or contact me through Slack so you can send the file there.
Might take some time as real life is also asking much of me lately.

I see XWC starting to make new development. What are the news now and what is going on, plans?
Is there slack channel to get into? Thanks.

Our main focus for now, is the manual swap and porting the existing features to the new wallet (whiteos, paper wallets, inwallet blockexplorer etc. )
Once we got those things mostly covered we will release a new roadmap.

Ok thanks, I will do that cheers.
