Roaming folder is different,

Legacy : %appdata%\Whitecoin\
V2.0.0 : %appdata%\whitecoin-xwc\

Hello sslegi,

backup you're wallet.dat just to be sure

and close the wallet.
In "%APPDATA%\Whitecoin" delete everything except "wallet.dat" and download the latest blockchain snapshot here: https://github.com/Whitecoin-org/xwc-blockchain/releases/download/latest/xwc-blockchain.zip
unpack this inside "%APPDATA%\Whitecoin" and start the wallet again.

This is a flaw in every (alt)coin, the transaction consists of too many small value addresses. Try lowering the amount of coins send at once. and send it multiple times to the new address.
I can assist you in slack if you want, that's not a problem at all.

Yes, u can use coin control to select inputs. Only 1000 inputs can be used while sending a transaction.

yes you should wait till the stakes have returned and/or add "reservebalance=999999999" in the whitecoin.conf file.
The wallet should be synchronizing normally, is it still at 98% ?

You can do it multiple ways, but we needed to create a guide that will suit any user. Some people are comfortable with debug / command line commands, and others are not.
There are even people who have never seen or used it. So i needed to make it as visual as possible.

There was an small guide in earlier post here on BCT and on the 1st day of the swap on the swap page. But i think it was not enough info and to technical.

But if more people like a command line guide, i can create those as well.

Kudos to team XWC for a very successful swap thus far.

The swap manual makes it just about as easy as can be and with Slack support there is no reason for end users having errors.

I encourage everyone to RT https://twitter.com/Crypto_Digital/status/834482008554299392 and spread the word as it does XWC no good to have disgruntled legacy users miss the swap.

I have updated the ANN and included some information about the coin swap at the top.
To ensure that everybody reads the info, I also post it here:

Ongoing manual Coin Swap:
The swap duration will be 3 months till 21-05-2017 23:59 GMT+2.

We have successfully auto-swapped the Whitecoins over at Bittrex, so from now on you can send the coins FROM Bittrex to your NEW wallet which can be downloaded here: https://github.com/Whitecoin-org/Whitecoin/releases/tag/v2.0.0.0.

From now on we will be calling the "old" wallet (till version 1.1.2.3) the Whitecoin Legacy wallet!

Please do NOT send the coins from the Legacy wallet to Bittrex or from Bittrex to your Legacy wallet, they will be lost in limbo and we cannot return them.

If you still have Legacy coins, you can swap them manually till 21-05-2017 23:59 GMT+2.
Any coins send after this date will not be processed and are lost!
