For a coin that's "not dead" there's been wonderfully little useful information of late. I can't find any live pools, which means solo mining... but it looks like people are playing games with the coin, given the large fluctuations in difficulty and the resulting longer-than-expected followed by shorter-than-expected block times. zed.minecryptocoins.org is still live.
But there is problems with the difficulty, so without a KGW implementation, it's not really worth mining.
Plus it sounds like the needs to be a release to address heartbleed.
Zedcoin is definitely in need of some dev attention.
