Cheers to a successful launch, the difficulty is climbing as pools start coming on line. It seems the modified DigiShield difficulty algo is working now too.

what is used to mine Skein coins? GPU's?
Skeincoins (SKC) are mined with CPUs and GPUs, although GPUs are much more efficient. This uses the same hashing algorithm, so it is also mined with CPUs and GPUs...Thanks!

Wallet binaries released. Passwords for the zips as well as Github source to be pushed at launch.
Also, many new pools updated. P2pool has some quirks, but MPOS stratum mining and solomining will work.
