I dont care what problem they have! after 13 days being unresolved, support un-responsive, and when they did, the promise was not met 5 days ago!! I am even fed-up and dont want my coins anymore!! its just 1 bad experience with cryptsy, but it went so far that it just deleted all the good memories and all the good experience I had with them!!!

I dunno how to show screenshots, but i have the whole history!! dunno what to do!! but am just sharing by experience for you guys to take care!! I repeat ive been a user for a long time!! I never had such a bad experience with cryptsy, but when it happened, it turned out to be the WORST EVER!!!

I can't make my wallet sync to the network. I've created a sync.conf file with the node posted in the first topic, but nothing so far. Already tried to cancel and recreate the folder, but nothing.
Is the name "sync.conf" the right one?
Technically it should be with a capital: "Sync.conf" but that only matters when you are not on Windows.
It needs to be placed in the same directory as your wallet.dat by default
but the biggest issue is that the first post needs to be updated - someone else already commented that
those addresses don't work.
Here is the list of IP addresses that my own wallet connects to, simply add these lines to your Sync.conf:

addnode=208.180.88.55:24241
addnode=173.172.183.131:24241
addnode=192.99.167.170:24241
addnode=121.98.72.202:24241
addnode=217.66.26.148:24241
addnode=24.200.62.50:24241
addnode=162.243.81.52:24241

addnode=174.19.213.102:24241

addnode=70.30.201.225:24241
addnode=79.102.40.151:24241
it's syncing now. Thank you Smiley

Do you have the 1.0.3 wallet??
If not, you never can receive the coins!

That was my first thought. Crrptsy has gone down hill IMO. I am almost purely a Bittrex person.

Hope it was not a big amount. Try contacting them over IRC or Twitter. There is always someone from the support team in the IRC.

Anarchy is not chaos.
anyone know of any good complete article explaining staking to like noobs? Cheesy
I'm guessing staking is similar with all coins?

Best I've seen is the HoboNickels wiki.

I've uploaded my peers.dat file to filedropper for anyone who is having trouble syncing.  Just place it in your roaming/sync folder.

Enjoy.

Whats the current stake % at?

50%, halving every month, till it reaches 1 %

Oh great thanks.

I thought it was 25% cause it's been 3 months since launch.  Wink

First halving started at block 86400, and next halving is at block 129600
current block is 106792

So there is some time to gain 50% Stake!

looking at the x11 multipool...it looks like its not worth mining there.. the payout are every 2-3 day and it not much for the hashrate...am i missing something?..want to get some more sync but im not calculating something right

There is nothing profitable to mine right now.  Crypto is pretty dead.  All multipool prof is down and the only x11 they are mining is uro.  If you want to mine x11 mine @ waffle then buy your own Sync. Waffle i think still pays out whenever you hit .005 btc so it depends on how much hash you have how often you get payout.  i used to mine there and got paid almost daily.

X11 mining is just not very profitable, most x11 coins are POS these days and POW coins are sucked dry by the multipools (including the SYNC multipool).
We support x11 because there are enough miners who want to use low energy/heat mining on their systems that run anyhow.

With the current prices of SYNC, it will take a lot of time however before you get some serious SYNC.

If you expect SYNC to rise (we DO) you could still mine at the multipool with the idea that the SYNC you do get, will increase conserably, meaning that in e.g. about 4 weeks from now the mining is suddenly profitable for you.

If you are in for the short run, it is not profitable...
