Heya all, I'm also on the mac wallet and only get 6-7 connections and a shit ton of orphans!! Where can I find this config file? I thought it was normal, now i'm bummed because i've been staking for weeks!

Create a .txt file and rename it...probably some rtf formatting embedded in the file if you create an rtf file or something like that.

Thanks, I tried the above with Sync.conf and sync.conf file. In both cases, my max connection is around 6-8.

Can some please share/upload their conf file, just to be double sure. Note, I am on MAC.

EDIT: Removing the conf file in the Sync folder gives me the same number of connections (5-8), hence the Sync.conf file is not really making a difference. Can someone share his/her conf file? thanks

EDIT 2: I was updating the old conf file and now when I try to create one from scratch i.e. create a rtf file and rename it *.conf in MAC, the wallet does not load and crashes until I remove this newly created conf file.

Close the sync-qt wait a few seconds - restart it and normally you get in about 1-2 minutes 40-60 Connections and the orphaned mining is propably history

This is now the 2nd week in a row i've been short changed by the multipool and this time i've taken the stats down

to show everyone I highly suggest that everyone using the multipool check what they are supposed to be checking.

this is what i have sent to the multipool guys and figures don't lie. 



"why have i recieved only .17 sync

when my total number of scrypt shares was over 41 million confirmed and over 5million unconfirmed at 6pm this afternoon

at the going rate of 0.00156409 per million at the time

so even if you purchased sync at the very top end of the market today

which having checked the exchanges was not more than .25 btc per sync

means that my payout should have been at its very lowest 0.06412769 btc

whihc works out at the top rate of .25btc to the sync = .25715 sync

i'm short 0.08 sync thats almost half!!

I expect the correct sum to be sent to my wallet please

Its is for this reason and that I will no longer support this pool
I had my suspicions but this is just not on for 2 full days of mining.

Each of you must do what you feel is right but i could not in good concience

not let you all what my experience has been thus far.

I would reccomend that the dev set up small collection from those of us mining sync

to help towards getting a proper multipool with full transparent stats to mine our coin.

untill this happens though i can't afford to take this kind of loss and will reluctantly be putting my hash

else where.

Alright so now I have added the new port. Connection is still that much  around 5-8

forward the port 24241 to your computer (in router) or somehing similar

My wallet has 61 connections, and almost no orphans

6-7 connections still really isn't enough.  I have 16 atm, but it can go as high as 30+ sometimes.

Make a new line under rpcport= and add port=24241.
