I am quite sure it's not atm if you mine and dump right away unless you have some of the new power efficient scrypt asiscs. If you mine and hold however it might be profitable, cause you will start getting extra coins from minting in 2 days.

Really? MintCoin has more than 18 billion coins in circulation. On the other hand, AsiaCoin has much much much less coins and will only end up with 150 million coins after POW ends.
