How do I synchronize my wallet in the correct chain?

Rename your data folder, Amsterdamcoin, then reinstall the wallet.
Wait until fully sync'ed, then copy over wallet.dat(and masternode.conf / amsterdamcoin.conf if you're running a masternode) from the renamed data folder.

I had similar issues. For the VPS: Starting the daemon with -reindex didn't do anything but with

Code:

cd .amsterdamcoin

then

Code:

rm -rf blocks

and

Code:

rm -rf chainstate

it synced after restarting the client.

For the (windows) wallet the equivalent would be deleting the blocks and chainstate folder in \users\username\appdate\roaming\amsterdamcoin and restarting the wallet.

I don't think xevan has ever been supported on Nicehash. Perhaps it will be added some day since there are more Xevan coins now, whereas for awhile it was BitSend only using that algorithm (they created it in the first place).

Yes, you can.
A laptop is more than enough to run several masternodes and AMS masternode is not resource-hungry.
The guide in OP, which is very easy to follow.

I have transferred my wallet to windows and everything works, i think there is a problem on the linux wallet

But.... I hate windows!

Was also stuck on block 126043 on a windows machine. It's not an OS specific issue. I quickly rebuild the chain and that helped me.
