congrats on biggest pump and dump in cryptocurrency to date.

lol, I posted at least 20 times in this thread about how everyone buying in was going to get burned.  I even backed up my reasoning with logical market cap calculations.

People argued back with a complete lack of logic or calculations to back up their arguments.  I am astounded by the stupidity and false hope I have seen here in this thread.

If you're a noob getting burned, think of it as a good thing.  You're learning a valuable lesson about pump and dumps that will help you in future trades.

We are in a tough spot here. Both coin tanked and Difficulty sky rocketed at the top of the drop forcing us into this situation where no one wants to mine because it takes so damn long to find a block because of difficulty and the value has tanked. We still have around 1800 more blocks to find until difficulty resets(according to hashfasters pool) so this could get interesting and maybe in a bad way. Can anyone confirm when difficulty resets? I see on the info page it looks like every 8 blocks. But hashfaster pool says 1800 more blocks.

Where the hell did you get that number?
Ups , I see you've edited it. The difficulty re targets every 8 blocks.

You don't find it odd that some new crypto comes out of nowhere and all the sudden there is all this media coverage? All that shit is bought and paid for to give an appearance of going viral while the big boys dump.

The pool keeps getting dossed, i have been telling this for a few days, you just need to read my posts.

It was online for most of the morning than at 3:30 pm GMT another attack started.

I have also lowered tx fees to enable those with little AUR to withdraw their coins but for some reason someone doesn't want me to run the pool....

Indeed KGW should have been implemented on a much earlier block to avoid the multi pools issues.

AUR is just the latest victim of them, jump in while diff is low and profitability is high, leave a coin with high diff and slow hashrate.

If AUR sparks up again in value you'll see the network hashrate exploding and so confirmations time will decrease.

You add to that the fact that pools are getting dossed and a lot of miners are not setting backup server and you have far less hashrate than it should be.

I'll just grab some more popcorn to watch this soon to be glorious explosion Cheesy

this          … or start a popcorn business !

Nah, to many screechers and trolls will start yelling how bad popcorn is for you and say they will zip their tea and watch how popcorn will go out of business Cheesy

Need I predict how the tea business will go?

AUR : interesting idea, poor execution.
I've pulled my miners off of AUR because of poor profitability, extrememly long confirmation times and apparently broken difficulty adjustments. If you retrofitted KGW I'd consider it again. Don't you have work to do today ?

Already have mate! Just writing a businessplan for tea export company, trying to stay ahead of you at least one step ;-)

Interesting thingy:
The coins needs more miners to get the block times fixed , but because of the block being found once in a while nobody wants to mine it.
The time for the hardfork should be updated.

What is the problem with Unipool.net?

I guess i've got screwed, stil no confirmation of my balance and also no reaction for 24h from them....  Huh Undecided
The confirmations stayes on block 1: 54 left, block 2: 90 left and block 3: 95 left.
Thx Unipool for wasting my hashrate and electricity for the last 3 days. I'm out of there!  Angry

Let it be a warning for you all, don't mine at http://unipool.net/auroracoin !!!

It's not the pools fault. It's the coin. Difficulty is broken and won't be fixed until block 5400, which at the current rate won't be for weeks.
There are literally hours of no blocks being found on the entire network.

We did find 3 blocks. So the confirmation is also a coin issue? In that case i edit my message.

I transfered my coins many times and usually it took approx. 10-30 minutes tops.

Maybe I got lucky?

both tx time and confirmations are affected by increased block times I think. increased block times are as a result of increased diff from a reduction in hashing power after a multipool shows up and then leaves. that's whats going on with tx and confirm

Great i got it, thnx for your clear reply!
