Yeah , then you've understood why a 1 block difficulty target it's different.

KGW takes into account more past blocks?

Also even if you narrow it to 1 block from 8 , you can still be left in the air by a multipool switching on and off.

And this doesn't happen with KGW because?

KGW  tries to limit the huge spikes when hashrate is taken out(in) of some coin by creating an average and not allowing the difficulty to fluctuate that much.
So you won't have any spikes up or down but a slow adjustment , leaving multipools unable to take advantage like now.

Of course , even kgw is not bulletproof.

If the problem would be that simple to solve , why would some people use KGW  in the first place Smiley

That's what I've been wondering. Why they use it?

Hope that sums up what KGW does.

Looks to be what I already thought it would be.

Once diff drops to 1.1k/800 in a couple blocks AUR will be mighty profitable again.

I think^?

diff drops:-[

If there is a problem with KGW, then just adjust the diff after every block, problem solved?

.. Do you even know what KGW does?

I thought it adjusted the difficulty every block according to a few past blocks. If that's not it, then what?

If there is a problem with KGW, then just adjust the diff after every block, problem solved? I never understood the need to "smoothen" the diff changes.

which pool is finding the blocks at the moment?

i'm on 1gh and there's only about 10mhash on there at the moment.  http://aur.1gh.com/

either jump on or give me a good pool to switch to?  I got a feeling there's gonna be one soon!
http://aur.scrypthp.com is the pool I run and I've just checked and all systems are running optimally. 1% Fee MPOS on fast, secure servers, just hit a block a few hours ago Smiley We've been here almost since the start with 99.999% uptime.  I've just added extra cpu/ram for the front end as well so it should be fine to scale up from our current hash rate.

8 blocks in 21 mins. Network is finding blocks nearly 4 times faster than it should be.

It's the same roller coaster ride every time. Now diff will adjust and multipools will abruptly leave with not even a "maybe I'll call you sometime, baby"

Nothing new , the coin is trying to replace the banking system.
So it means fast blocks in the morning and afternoon and only 1 block afterwards and during the night.  Smiley)) Just how banks are closed after 6pm Smiley))
