Atm looks pretty stable, seems like no shared premine, no giveaways and no instamine works.
Keep going guys!

Auroracoin has been added to Poloniex: https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_aur

Poloniex is an EXCELLENT exchange.

Poloniex is shaping up to be a player for sure. The owner is very responsive and hopefully can maintain that trend with increased registrations. Word to the wise. HOLD.

This is an EXTREMELY interesting coin to me.

Bulduro:

1.  I agree that implementing Kimoto's Gravity Well is VERY important.  Yes, adjustment time between blocks is low, but I have seen whales increase difficulty so much then leave that the amount of miners left couldn't solve a block.  If this coin becomes what I hope it will, then some organizations will look for ways to attack it.  Not having KGW is one way they could.

2.  Can you tell me:
A.  Time between blocks.  Looks to be around 4 minutes?
B.  Block reward structure .  25 coins right now?  Does that increase or decrease or stay the same?  Have you worked out the date the last coin will be mined?

Thank you!

Aurora need kimoto gravity well  Roll Eyes

AUR has quite short adjutment time, only 8 blocks. This causes also more fluctuation.
Couldn't a coin adjust it's diffulty on every block, but based on n previous block time?

Going pretty smooth, tnx! Difficulty is starting to kick in tough Undecided, I just might put my other 15 rigs in for the battle  Grin

Hows it goin LTEX? Im the annoymous one below u on the pool lol

Its very tough now mate I see you've pointed more rigs now to it. Dnt blame I would if I had more  Wink Wink

It's atill going up and down with the Diff Huh My plan is to keep going at it with around 22Mhs until a couple of weeks after the airdrop. I am a firm believer of real commitment to well made decisions, so we'll see how it plays out Cool

Good decision. I draw my hat! I'm also staying on Aur with the little hashpower I rented.

Oscillating difficulty can kill a coin as seen with namecoin. They were forced to switch to merged mining because of that effect.

Lets try to get some action going in the mineabit pool:

***
Mine-a-Bit: http://aur.pool.mineabit.com/
0% Pool Fee / 0.01 AUR tx fee / VarDiff

Excellent for "lower" hashrate miners, and why not for higher hashrates too, compare to pool with 1% pool fee and 0.1 AUR tx fee:
Lets say you set autopayout to 1 AUR.. you pay 0.01 AUR for the pool fees and 0.1 AUR tx fee; thats 0.11AUR taken from every payout.. 11% total fees! // with mineabit, this would be 0.01 AUR tx fee = 1%
With autopayout set to 5 AUR, that would do 0.15 AUR in fees from every payout.. 3% total fees! // with mineabit, the total fees are still 0.01 AUR, which would be 0.2%
***

I switched over for the lower fees but I'm concerned about how the worker diff adjustment is working.  After ~30 minutes I'm still at 128 diff.  Typically pools push my 1.7 mh/s to 400 - 512 or so.  Not completely sure how this impacts the pools overall performance but wanted to mention it.

Relayed the comment to the admin, he'll go through and optimize the settings. While this has pretty much no impact on the server, users from other continents might see a little slower hashrates than with with servers located more close.
Nice to see ye join the pool too btw! Smiley

To attract some more miners to get them blocks rollinn in steady, I'll pledge the coins I've mined so far for a giveway!
22 AUR to be drawn between two lucky miners (12 for the first, 10 for the second) on the pool! Names will be drawn before the weekend, but could be sooner too Wink Get yer miners in today! Smiley
