In other news, Aur was sold by Criptorush (they sold peoples money they had on site for btc themselves) and now they don't even show Aur on their site. I checked the pot/Aur then for Aur/btc.
AUR/POT is Currently Disabled or has been Removed!
Yes, big shame, I moved my coins to cryptsy because on cryptorush nothing happens...

why such a shitcoin has such a high price?

If you are going by satoshi then yes it looks high but it was high as I seen $78.usd in the past. Current price:
0.00595227 BTC (595227 Satoshi)
2.99935 USD

make sure you are mining on an updated pool, we are up to date http://aur.pool.mineabit.com

Dear Mineabit,

I stop mining with your pool because you have almost a month without produce a single block (and no payouts off course). Looks like a large percent of the hash power is going to other coins or other AUR private accounting. +4100% or >41 million shares without solve a block is far away from normal.

AUR Miners can validate this info by just login in mineabit pool.

I seen pretty much everyone leave there. I got some aur for a while then it seemed to stop. Been stuck here since before my last login

Hi, I didn't check it yet but received this email roght now and posting here, so please let me know if this is true or is a spam...

Dear user,

Since few minutes, the Auroracoin Network have found the #5400 block. After this block, we have now a smaller difficulty, so it's very easy to find new blocks now. We have now the possibility to find a lot of blocks everyday.
So, if you want to earn Auroracoins very quickly, it's time to put your miner on our pool.
See you soon on our pool : http://pool.auroracoin.fr

The Auroracoin Pool Team

I will check later if this is true but thought it might help the community so posted here.
Good luck!

Well now this is over with. Took some time for KGW to normalize, since the previous blocks had such extreme blocktimes. A lot of blocks mined in the process.

Thanks to the miners who stuck with AUR.

Anyone having issues with auroracoind and inbound connects? An inbound connect to the p2p port succeeds, but is immediately closed by auroracoind. Outbound connects work fine.

Wouldn't normally be a huge problem (in the real world) but p2pool needs to connect to the p2p port before it will start. It's worked fine previously.

I'm on the current client, downloaded and compiled a few days ago.
