Sorry, but i dont undestand how to start mining xaurum?
Xaurum can be mined on http://goldmine.aurumproject.io/

It is a pool, so the payouts timing depends on your mined value, if you mine with low hashpower payouts can take a while.

Here are the stats for the 150th payout:

We have mined new 0,15446825 Xaurum and transformed electricity into 0,852022059 more grams of gold.

The mints have minted new 19,07274633 Xaurum and backed Xaurum with 105,2022059 more grams of gold.

We now have 7437,111217 of total Xaurum money supply, backed by 16614,78928 g of gold. This means every Xaurum is now worth 2,234038029 g of gold and can be melted at this ratio.

Fucking hell, this must be the most expensive gram of gold on the planet since 1 XAU= 1 BTC.....
phuck me...................
It would be, were intended as a sale of gold, but the function of gold reserves isn't to sell, but to determine the base value of Xaurum, so if it drops below 80$ or something like (at the moment), the gold would be so cheap that people would profit by melting Xaurum, and either increase the price or preserve their value in gold.

today's buyprice of 1g investment gold (good delivery LBMA) is aprox $ 55, so if 1 xau is worth 2,2g of gold, this means if it drops below $ 124, it would be a good price to buy some cheap gold (thru melting Xaurum). But, who would even sell this coin if it has a potential to be worth 100g of investment gold ?? What would be the price of the coin then?

Can I buy in at this ration?  For instance, can i send in 1 troy 24k gold for 31 Xaurum?
No, this is just the gold base of Xaurum that functions as its lower limit of value. You can only mine it or mint it according to coinage equations, so the base can grow.

Why is that?
Because they scammed us.

Cryptsy was hacked and their funds were stolen, they kept this hidden from the users so they kept trading giving them fees and kept bringing new money to cryptsy, effectively operating as a ponzi from the time they were hacked. Here is more info: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptsy-stopping-withdraw-locking-accounts-without-notifying-users-class-action-1173703

yeah saw that some month ago but still hoped they come back and open..
police or so know about the dev from cryptsy?
I don't really know, that topic has 400 pages, I'm waiting for a shorter version.
I think BigVern escaped to China.

i have 0.23 xau at cryptsy are they now lost??

I'm so sorry for this, but I think that the answer is "yes". I'm a victim of Mintpal, so I understand you!
I think so too, the last blog entry is:

Quote from: blog.cryptsy.com
– Update 2016/02/04 1:54am –

I apologize for the delay in updates - we’ve continued to open more wallets for withdrawal and I will post a full list of what is open shortly.   We suggest anybody having coins in these open wallets to remove them from the exchange as soon as possible.

and cryptsy is offline, probably forever.

Most of XAU were saved. I believe they had a limit on 1 XAU withdrawal.

Mined for 3 days straight...and no payment?

XGfmtnBoc12Dn1mTT2FtYiTDwTVd3vzpLs

They don’t pay and only promised to transfer money.
fake project, stealing hash rate!

What's the fake project, Xaucoin? I don't understand!
He was complaining about the goldmine payouts. Again, there is a script that prevents loss of value, when you mine a coin on goldmine and this coin has expenisve transaction fees, it is processed only when the fees are relatively small to the payout. Meaning that if you mine with small hashpower you have to wait longer for the payout, as with any other pool.

OK, thanks! I was looking for clarifications because on Yobit there has been a surreal mess since the moment in which two or three users had talked about the fact that Xaurum and Xaucoin were about to be mixed together.. Now we can say that it's false
