I will be happy to test the next Mac build scripts before you release it, if you want.  I have 3 or 4 of them, from Mavericks to 10.6, some with QT and all the libraries installed, and others completely bare bones. PM me.

If you give me a poke before you add DNS seeds, I'll see if I can contribute a long term node that you can include.

well well well. the sleeper has awakened...

i bought some at over 3k thinking i was smart, ha! so is this real or is it not? 0.5 btc is not very relevant volume, impossible to get in or out to any meaningful extent.

Who is in control now, or is it dev fud news for people to get in / out?

crypto is tiring sometimes

I can only talk for myself, but I am very serious about this coin. As long as it doesn't become like so many others... All hype and full of tripe!

I was buying in from the launch and I continue to do so. I might need a bag full to allow me to use them for a project but only if it doesn't go down the same path with anon and all that bad jazz.

Why i cant pull Axis from dedicated pool?

The pool admins probably need to update their wallet but as it no longer PoW, it may not be a high priority for them. Just a guess.

this person that nobody hired anyway is going to get your thread closed by spamming beggar addresses. /.02

Good point LOL

I did not get it, guy is doing something, and it is ok for the community to motivate him, maybe im wrong, please elaborate.

The mods of BitCoinTalk can and will close threads that have too many wallet addresses in posts. It's nothing to do with the people in this thread but what the admins of the site decide.

Thank you for the elaboration  Cool

sorry I will stop spamming. I just want to do  something for Axis, since the dev is too lazy not to care about his coin

As we speak I am already updating the wallet to make it ready for anon implementation and bitcoin 0.9x core

updates will be implemented on this fork:
https://github.com/savale/Axis

Support is appreciated and will help speed up coding new features:

APfUgJgGxaUVebbmTFFhWUMndQrUuDZ5x9

btc:

Not to start problems but I would hold off on forking because that's just going to seriously mess up the coin.

Although, you have the absolute right to fork the coin as it is licensed to allow that, it will cause confusion.

There are already devs waiting to help and many people here (with the greatest respect) don't know you or your plans for your fork of this coin.

Regards!

I found out Axis is based on quite old bitcoin source. To update all the libraries and all bitcoin source changes is possible, but also quite a job.

Another approach would be to take the latest bitcoin source and implement the Axis blockchain into there. This will take a bit more time, but Axiscoin will get lots of bugfixes and new features for free.

I feel a bit more for the second approach myself. Any opinions?

(by the way I have no plans at all for forking the blockchain yet)

Yeah. It is safe to say that any coin released these days that still has IRC code in it, is indeed based on old BTC/LTC code (pre many bug-fixes).

I think you are right to suggest going back to base code and adding Axis into that. In the long-run, it would be more prudent to do that IMHO. That is, if there is going to be any changes done at all.

It is still pretty good code but if there's talk of new features, then getting the basics sorted out and working as reliably as possible first should be priority.
