Personally, I'm wary of any project where the "bitconnect" is written..

Good. Im buying a lot of BCC speculating an increase in price.

BCC is pretty much the only real winner in the past 7 days of the market.
===========================================

Antiques Collectibles can be a good investment long term, also for coins and stamp collectors.  Some people that bought old iMacs and kept as collectible made a huge profit selling to the Apple museum. Someday the blockchain will have a coin museum and BCC could ten-tuple current price of $1.95. Time is money!

AGGREE 100% bcc will get back to where it was

Antiques have value due to scarcity. BCC will never be scarce. It's a worthless shitcoin like thousands of others.

I was staking BCC and it said there are only 2 days left until a staking reward.  Then suddenly my computer accidently restarted and now I open the wallet and unlock and the it says "Not staking because you don't have mature coins".

So this means that I have to wait the whole 15 days again to get a reward just because my computer restarted 2 days before a reward?

I read in the FAQ that the computer does not need to be turned on during the full 15 days.  Only during the last day or so.
dude you are about as stupid as this coin why are you even staking it? its over dude!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not over until BCC coins are completely untradable anywhere.  Until then, why would I not want to collect as many free coins as possible?

Even if it stops being traded it doesnt mean that its over, the chain will still run even if its delisted. As long as there are people running nodes the chain will live on. So if there are people out there stuck with bags of BCC and way down on their investment you should atleast stake your coins.

But I wouldnt get excited about staking it, if I remember correctly the distribution was something lopsided to reward staking in the initial periods....I think it was something like 50% for the first 6 months and then decreasing rapidly after that....which is a terrible inflation model for a coin  Cheesy

They did this probably because they knew they would eventually exit scam and they wanted all those coins to get staked when the price was propped up from the lending scheme......god and even after they crush everyones dreams....sad.

In BTCz we trust. Organic slow growth.
So anyone know what is behind the BCC rise in the past 2 weeks while the rest of the market is slowly falling? BCC has gone up over 10% in the last week. I thought this was supposed to go down forever.

Markets aren't always rational and crypto markets are easily manipulated. BCC is worthless. Any price above 0 is too expensive.

BCC is a token with blockchain and wallet, Why is it worthless? Because someone used it to scam people? So the US dollar is also worthless because someone use it to trade drugs and another person used it to scam people?

Not being sarcastic, just asking a question.

It's worthless because there is no use for it now that the scam has ended.

USD can be used for a lot of stuff, what with that whole "legal tender" thing etc.

I can find more use for last year's rotten leaves in my backyard than for BCC.

Your leaves are worth negative value, you have to pay someone to take them or they remain fire hazard liability.

BCC can be sold for real fiat money right now.

Your comparison is way to bias to even start a discussion.

Actually I'll put my leaves into compost and enjoy fresh tomatoes a few months later but thank you for your concern.

Selling BCC for fiat is not a use case. There's just someone willing to gamble. There is no use for BCC. None. Some idiots still buy Paycoin. Go figure.

The guy who bought a pizza with 30,000 BTC though the pizza guy is an idiot. But again, Paycoin is not BTC neither is BCC. But speculation is, like you said, a gamble and I am willing to take some.

The USD is backed by the state and is almost globally accepted as a currency which means it is well adopted. You can universally trade it for other goods.
BCC has neither adoption nor is backed by anything.

People poured $1.5B into EOS, at this time it is completely useless and there is no backing other than some theoretical future project that could compete with Eth. There is no blockchain, no POW, wholly owned and minted by one or a few individuals collecting the money.

BCC can be traded for BTC then for Fiat. In fact if you got in the ICO for BCC at 50 cents you are still up 500%.

How many ICOs are up 500% since inception?

Bitconnect was a total scam. I hope the ones who did it get justice.

BCC is a digital token and a "thing" cannot be a "Scam" because a "Scam" is an action and BCC is only a "digital thing". So don't let the naysayers sway you some may be secretly accumulating millions of BCC. BCC is still being traded and in fact one of the only coins gaining value in the past 7 weeks of the bear market. Someone is accumulating and in my opinion it could gain significantly. Too bad I sold most of mine at a big loss.
