How long is it before POS is generated with coins bought as looking to do my part with this coin and also get some coins. I see people are still mining this coin? I tohught mining was over or is this only on some of the algos or are they multipools mining other coins exchanging into Badgercoin?

I'm now in the XC and making good profit so far.
When exchange into btc, I'll donate part of my profit for minpal voting, and some for buy more bdg. (I think i'm also sort of a huge bag holder lol)
I hope to see a steady and very slow rise in price until getting on minpal, not wanting the yc case.

Dev mac wallet is not staking.. 17 days passed and nothing, only one stake @ day 7.
If it staked once, there is no reason it shouldn't again, have you sent any coins? sending any badger can reset all coins if they are considered "change", check your coin window in advanced so see current coin ages.

We can arrange that, but first I think users should give us ideas on what they would like "pots" for, so for example "mintpal votes", or "reddit adverts"
So, I'll start the list if you want to add your ideas to it, if we get enough good ideas I'll create a system to take donations and account for them.

The other problem is, we need a lot more hash power, especially on the x11 and scrypt ports, as we are currently only able to mine the 2nd or 3rd most profitable coins, as we don't have enough hash rate for the difficulty of the most profitable coins.

I pointed my miners back as well instead of digging around. One possibility, are there enough coins for 1.5x or 2x bonus for a couple of days? We need more publicized incentive for folks to point their miners this way. I don't have many coins but am willing to donate 1000 (which is a good portion :/ ) to the cause. Also, is there any update on statistics for the multipool? I'm pretty sure if there was a way for people to see whats coming to them or to verify they're mining correctly it would help with people staying. I know I like the peace of mind of being able to check in and predict whats going to happen in the near future. Doesn't have to be too extravagant. Even if it's just "enter your wallet address" search kinda thing most people are happy with that.
P.S. thanks for all the hard work and dedication. you guys obviously have a following so you've accomplished something already.

This is not something you rush, there is no fault in the staking so we are not gonna rush out a change and risk breaking things.
We also have some users that want it set lower and faster and some that want it set higher, so we have to decide if we should even change it first.

There will be approx 5-10 mins downtime on the multipool later for security updates, just thought I better warn you all so you can have failover pools set.
