Hi mate! Well, without going into too much political detail that I know some of the BCT audience dislikes, I, along with the rest of the 99% that have to actually abide by our laws, am furious with the FBI's recent announcement. I have yet to see a public reaction from Bernie but, given he is walking a tightrope with the Democratic party, his silence on the topic is understandable. Of course, we know he must be furious as well, as he is always when justice fails. He knows politics far better than I. It looks like the GOP and, hopefully, the forthcoming FBI probe will spell out for the public how audacious this is.

No, surrendering is not an option and no one has given up. Unless you're talking about the FBI performing their law enforcement duties and some weak handed opportunist. YoBit has actually seen an increase in volume recently. Nothing earth shattering but, an increase none the less. Again, I am in no competition with other coins or developers, that is not my style. I have both publicly and privately wished them success with their projects even if we may not agree on politics. This project continues despite the relentless negative pressure on the markets. From where this negative pressure, I will not speculate. But anyone would be incorrect to not realize this project, along with any other 'political coin', has an entire host of new ramifications beyond other crypto projects. Many of which we have little direct control over.

To better stay abreast of developments please join the forum (http://forum.bern.cash). Otherwise, I only use this thread for concrete announcements and of course support. Development continues amongst myself and other supporters. Public announcements are only made when things are certainties to not misguide investors and holders.

BERNcash got some free exposure today in one of the more popular pro-Bernie facebook groups when this familiar picture circulated with some improvements made by a kind Bernie supporter. Certainly, it sparked the curiosity of some enough to investigate. Hopefully, we gain some community members and BERN users. Of course, I do make BERNcash posts and comments occasionally in some of these Bernie groups but, this was a large Bernie meme group and perhaps a different audience. Free publicity is always a good thing!

EDIT: If we do gain some BERN users new to crypto, I wonder how much they will take for granted the ease of 'easy pool mining' in the wallet. In some ways perhaps it is a shame they will miss the joy of finally getting mining to work after a sleepless night or more.  

Yes, BERNcash uses X14. Any algo is susceptible to attacks though I have not seen any indication of such attacks on the BERN network.

To my knowledge, there is no publicly available ASIC that can hash X14. One of the reasons I selected X14 was the low number of coins using the algo. You see, ASIC manufactures can make an ASIC for any algo so long as the expense to develop, produce, and market it are worthy with much room for profit. With very few coins using X14, this likelihood is very low. Certainly very low before November, when half of the PoW generated coins will already be mined. I feel X11 has seen this ASIC invasion because, in part, the large number of coins that use X11. Thus making the audience for such a product larger. These products can not mine X14. Yes, my idea was the low popularity of X14 could be an advantage and give BERN slightly more ASIC resistance.

Another reason I selected X14 is it removes the whirlpool algo from X15 (X14 + whirlpool = X15). Removing the whirlpool algo gives a slight advantage to CPU mining. CPU mining sees almost a 15% increase in hash rate while GPU mining sees only about a 5% increase in my experiments. I viewed this as a way to give less technically savvy people, or people that simply could not afford a modern GPU, a slight advantage and to 'level the playing field' some. This fact of X14 and in-wallet 'easy pool mining' gives a low learning curve for less technically savvy people to enter BERN and crypto in general. I made every effort to make public acceptance and adoption of BERN as painless as possible. I view this as not only an advantage for BERN but also a push in the right direction for cryto in general.

Yes, I am just now learning this announcement as well. Which it is very promising but, I find the secret rendezvous very suspicious. They claim they talked about grandchildren and golf, an obvious lie or a private jet would not be needed and a phone would suffice. But, that said, I guess she couldn't come out and say, "we spoke about a forthcoming indictment of his wife."

It is certainly some good news for Bernie supports and I feel good news about our justice system. Everyone knows she is guilty as sin. I hope the FBI has had enough time to build the bulletproof case they should.

Wow, this is huge. New York Times just broke the story that a high-level official is saying that Attorney General Loretta Lynch will accept any recommendation that FBI Director James Comey hands her, regarding Hillary’s email scandal. If Comey says to indict, Lynch will indict. This move was seen as a reaction to her and Bill Clinton getting caught in their secret rendezvous on her private jet. From NYT:

Lynch plans to announce on Friday that she will accept whatever recommendation career prosecutors and the F.B.I. director make about whether to bring charges related to Hillary Clinton’s personal email server, a Justice Department official said. Her decision removes the possibility that a political appointee will overrule investigators in the case.
The Justice Department had been moving toward such an arrangement for months — officials said in April that it was being considered — but a private meeting between Ms. Lynch and former President Bill Clinton this week set off a political furor and made the decision all but inevitable.

The primaries results of California have yet to be made official. I would defiantly not say the "Still Sanders" group are the ones guilty of jumping the gun at all. No, in fact, the mass media jumped the gun and in a blatantly corrupt way. They were announcing hiLlARy the winner and presumptive nominee prior to the voting booths even opening in California. Which was a voter suppression tactic to mislead voters to thinking their vote would not matter and, to the DNC's hope, not vote. Even if hiLlARy does win California, she does not have enough delegates to be the presumptive nominee. It is mathematically impossible. No one has won or lost California at this point but, as the actual counting has been unfolding, counties have been flipping away from the premature announced winner to Bernie faster than hiLlARy flips on issues. Saying hiLlARy was prematurely announced the winner is a drastic understatement as, again, the polling stations were not even open yet when the mass media, feed and fueled by the establishment and the DNC in their unprecedented blatant corporation, tried to paint a false illusion of hiLlARy already winning. Again, mathematically impossible even if she did win California by a landslide, which she has not even by the premature results that are now being proved to be flat out lies from rigged voting machines.

Yes, L.A. and S.F., both very large counties, did flip to Bernie. He has won these counties. To my knowledge 6 other counties have flipped as well. You are correct, this has sparked hope as the article you cited states, and rightfully so. Last I heard, the margin was below 8% with over a dozen counties yet to have finalized counts. The battle for delegate rich California is not over and it is looking more and more like Bernie will win. But, you will not hear anything about this on the mass media.

The DNC and the mass media's deception to the American people is nothing short of treason to the most fundamental principal that this country was built on, democracy. The blind eye most all of the politicians, because they are in the click and stand everything to lose, make them all accomplices to this treason.

On the treason topic, hiLlARy has 2 criminal investigations going on. One for the mishandling of top secret information as Secretary of State and another espionage investigation. If any of us had done anything near what $he has, we would be in jail, perhaps even facing capitol punishment. Not parading around poking unoriginal insults at Mr. Trump.

Yes, the struggle does continue and will continue to the convention floor for Bernie Sanders and his supporters. That is unless hiLlARy is indicted prior. #hiLlARYForTreason2016

Fans of Bernie Sanders being elected at the Democratic National Convention to become the presidential candidate for 2016 were disappointed when Bernie Sanders “lost” the June 7 California primaries to Hillary Clinton.
Soon after, Bernie Sanders supporters wanted a recount vote in California, but there were still close to 3 million votes that still had not been counted.
Around June 14, Alternet points out that the process of counting all of those votes in California was going to be a slow process.
About three weeks after the California primaries on June 27, California Bernie Sanders supporters got a rush of hope when it was announced that Bernie “officially” beat Hillary Clinton.
On June 27, a “Feel the Bern” YouTube account published a video titled “L.A. and S.F. counties officially flipped — Sanders wins both!”
