hi,
can anyone help me? My pool mining account seems to lock me out. I tried changing the password and all it could say is ''Please contact site support.'' however. There is no link for the support. Please help. thanks.

Coinsilo is great!!!!

Stable and fast payouts. Not a problem for me!!!
I mined on them for a little over an hour and had 12 coins unconfirmed. It took 7 hours before the first 6.5 coins were confirmed, then another 6 hours before the last 5.5 coins were confirmed. 13 hours in total to confirm 12 coins. I do not consider that fast.  Undecided
By default in Betacoin (and in Bitcoin too) it takes 120 confirmations before mined block will be confirmed and miner receive BET.
That means that if you just mined a block, it will take 120*4min=8 hours on average to get mined coins.
NB! that is not a transaction confirmations, that is mined block confirmations.
As for pool owners, they usually make lower confirmations limit for mined blocks to speed up payouts, for example - bet.coinsilo.com have 60 confirmations on mined blocks:

I have lowered the confirmations to 60 to see how it goes.
UPDATE: I have reverted back to 120 confirmations

Even the pools you say that suck are much better than every pool that mines bitcoins.

Betacoin is an improvement of the Bitcoin not an alternative one...
You should remember this when it will hit the 100$ price  Smiley

I'm at 60gh/s. That said, let me ask a very blunt question. Is there any Betacoin pool that doesn't suck?

Dsync: Can't connect to the dsync pool. Can't connect to the website to confirm my worker name is right. Haven't been able to connect to the website for over a week. If I keep hitting refresh, every once in a while, it connects long enough to see the frames get drawn, but the page won't update. Fed up wasting my time on this one.

iSpace: Decent hash rate so there "should" be a decent payout. Pool seems to be working, but can rarely can connect to the website. I did manage to connect for all of 30 seconds after mining on it awhile, and saw no transactions. After over an hour of mining, there should have been at least a fraction of a coin unconfirmed. Then again, I've had poor results with iSpace's DEM pool too.

P2Pool: All I get are pool changed difficulty, pool requested work restart messages non stop. Maybe get one accepted block after about 30 pairs of changed difficulty/work reset messages.

l2r: Too small, not hitting enough blocks to make it worth bothering.

Coinsilo: They are kinda small and they aren't hitting as many blocks as iSpace or Xpool. Seem to work. Seems like there is a payout, got 5 coins after a few hours, still unconfirmed.

wdc.port: same problem as l2r, too small, doesn't hit enough blocks to make it worth bothering.

xpool: Seems to be the only pool worth using, having a high hash and a high block hit rate, but they are invite only.

After over a week of trying to get into Betacoin, I'm fed up, ready to give up and should just stick with eMark.

Current Pools list:

I think that is a temporal problem, partially solved. The reason is an extreme interest of miners & frequent attacks on pools, that pool owners repel professionally. As i know, almost all described above pools migrated to updated hardware several times in this month.

I think coinsilo is fine. Great interface!
Yeah, the interface is nice, but let's be honest, it's the exact same interface 95% of the pools use.  Wink

My only problem with coinsilo aside from the lack of block hits is it takes them forever to confirm earnings.

Another odd thing I've noticed with all the Betacoin pools is none of them show the true Net Hash rate, they all show the net hash as being the same as their pool hash. What's up with that?

http://bet.ispace.co.uk mining pool is back up and running after we have migrated all of our pools to a new host. We now have spare capacity so things should run a lot smoother going forwards.

We completed our latest round of stability and failover testing on the Ispace Mining Pools (including http://bet.ispace.co.uk) this morning and are confident that our pools are now in a very good position to handle the load being put on them.
