Please be patient i'm sure it will get sorted.

At least I haven't put actual money into any cryptocurrency so all I'll have lost if I get nothing out of CoinEX is some time, electricity (at 6 cents Kwh) and what I spent on a couple of used block erupters.

If the site isn't back up by this Friday, at least enough so people can trade everything to BTC and withdraw, then I'll be calling them a bunch of crooks. That'll be the farthest I'm willing to wait on it getting sorted out.

It's now the 2nd business day of "next week"... the clock is ticking.

When dealing with a site that involves money and a need for security, it's not such a brilliant idea to put anything like source code or the API etc out where crooks and thieves can have a look at it and find holes to exploit.

They really are shady as shit, I don't expect to see my money anymore. Why? Because they removed their API project from GitHub. (https://gist.github.com/erundook/8377222)
Why would they do that if they don't project to close the site?!?

I'm kinda new to the cryptocurrency community and I have to say, I just don't get why the community doesn't go ballistic towards all those people/exchanges crooking people off or just being stupid and careless with security issues. Every single miner or investor should just do anything in their power destroy these people credibility (we should litterally spit on them) so that people that just get to know what cryptocurrency is all about know that the community at least defend itself.

I've read some comments of people saying they were investigating and trying to expose those thieves, they should publish all the info they can "find" on them, personal or not. If they can at least live in fear or in shame of what they did they won't think about doing it again.

PS: Anonymous please help that community which is such in need of an entity that can take care of it.

What do you think I have been doing? A lot of people have been bitching about this whole situation.  Can't ever tell if people are really being hacked or just using it as an excuse...   Still waiting to get my coins back, no updates, no details, just pure shadiness......

Most people will believe anything though, or just say I am a troll or w/e they want to call me.

I have been with these guys for THREE "UPGRADES" so far. I fucking love them AND trust them.

I don't want a "refund" unless it is necessary, just want that balance to be carried over like last time.

Good luck fellas.

thank you.

Also to these people going on about coins been moved around STOP and think about why they are doing it it to protect you the end user as there NO telling if the PRIVATE KEYS were stolen for the deposit address.........

If they were people can use the keys to grab funds out that way....

So can understand why coin ex is moving coins around all over the place...    Watch this space and when they get back up everyone will have new deposit address this is call protecting their users from further losses

hmmmm to share holders I would be worried about a double hit now it sounds like cryptostocks btc exchange they use has goes under in vircurex http://www.zdnet.com/vircurex-bitcoin-exchange-crumbles-in-the-face-of-cyberattack-7000027618/

take note of the bottom of cryptostocks page    A service from the developers of Vircurex

If I was using cryptostocks I would looking very hard at them right now and finding how much they are linked to the exchange listed above and it they are owned by them or a different body but have to say it does not look good and wonder if this is behind coin ex problem Huh??

cause that would explain erun comment the other day about the "investors"
As if they had funds parked there from the float and this is linked etc they would not be able to get at them
to help slove their own issue in the hack of their site

its been a week, as much as i want coinex to return and be succesfull, shutting the site down this long and giving out this little information will really hurt their chances af recovering any popularity.

hope we can move on soon.

@bronan: I agree completely with you. Communication could be improved a lot though, and would take out some of the concerns. I do hope they can return, there is no other platform offering integrated altcoin mining with trading and sufficient turnover to keep markets alive. Besides that I'm a stakeholder (around 1 BTC lost) as well as a shareholder (now locked because of IPO flag).

Lazy Lurker Reads Alot
For an audit of a site you can not expect it to be done in a few days.
Just be a little patient and in coming 5 days we will see what happens.
If they startup too soon and have not solved the problem it all end up in the same mess after some time or worse.
