how long should it take for the blockchain to load?

Because mining speed is fast, it will take several hours

is this coin CPU or GPU based mining?

At present, the coin is mineable by CPU. However, the possibility of some smart guy can develop a GPU miner ( or maybe some of them are doing so).
You can mine with your computer. However, it is hard to mine a block now. Some guys seem to rent superb rigs to dominate the output.

Hard fork will happen within serval hours. Let's expect the situation will be good for small rigs.
Thak you so much for the explanation. So it is mineable directly from the wallet right now, am I correct? Any chance to get a block with my i7-2600k before the hard-fork?

I like this coin but the supply is huge , not great fundamentals

99 million will take a lot of time to mine. And remember, there are already coins with more than 50 million in circulation. So, I cant understand the fundamentals you are taking about...

Is the beta balance cleared?
After upgrading to version 3.2, my wallet balance is 0,

0c01056c761aa38d4106c8bc915cbc32fc67fa179113af3614475d8f

I backed up them and copied the file location of the new wallet

privkey.der

privkey_encrypted.der

pubkey.der

copy also mempool.db and ledger.db.
only keys did not show my balance with 3.2 and node.py was unable to sync.
