Hi BF,
Your roadmap indicates your plans to focus on wallets in H2 2019. Have you considered integration with ledger wallet? They now allow 3rd party apps...

Already 142 HyperNodes up and running;

More than 3.3 million $BIS in collateral;

A return of investment of 12.4% annual.

Start yours and get rewarded!

Can't afford a HyperNode?

Don't worry, we have partnership with Pickaxe.mn to offer you shared HyperNode services: https://pickaxe.mn/product/bis/

Now you can stake your Bismuth for as little as 250 $BIS per seat.

Stake your claim today!

That's great news, but one question... how much BIS can I obtain with one seat?... and other question... one seat is worth only 250 BIS or 250 BIS/month?...

thanks

1) One seat of 250 BIS will get you ~2.58 BIS / month which is 12.4% annual (presuming the amount of HN will remain the same).

2) No, with your 250 BIS you "buy" a stake in running a HN, for example you have 1643 BIS you can't run a HN (10K is needed) but you can "buy" 6 stakes (250x6=1500) on the next HN and when all 40 "seats" will be filled (not necessarily, if they fill up the rest), than the service provider in this case Pickaxe.mn will start a HN and you'll get reward for your 6 stakes. Pickaxe.mn is a like a HN pool, where more users put BIS in there (only in 250 increments) and they (Pickaxe.mn) will run a HN when 10K is gathered.

Ok... thanks for the explanation, I'm thinking the possibility of buy one seat to test the service.

Thanks again  Wink

Awesome! Go for it and please come back and tell us your experience with the service.

You're very welcome!

Can someone here write the fee of these pools:
1. http://www.noncepool.com
2. https://bis-pool.net/

10%, as is eggpool.

10% fee is a bit high no?

Regular coin:
- drop files onto a vps, you have a pool
- 10's of competing pools, generic miner, low fees, no dev involved.

Existing bismuth pools:
- from scratch (eggpool, bis-pool) or significantly modded (nonceppol) pool
- from scratch, custom gpu miner
- some pools dev are involved in the community and coin dev (bizzzy, egg)

All Bismuth pools did custom hard work and invested significant amount of money and dev time to get a working pool+miner.

Anyone is free to do the same and open a Bismuth pool with lower fees.

hi man, thanks for the reply and the info. it make sense now for sure.

I do not like that the project developers (or atleast affilated persons) are busy with some kind of garbage with magic eggs and other non-christian things. I don't want to deal with anything like that.

Actually the developers are busy working on the Bismuth project (hypernodes, mining algo, docs, scripts, etc..) just look at Github commits. Dragginator game (if this is what you are referring at) is developed by the community member and young developer Iyomisc, and the game is running on the Bismuth platform. Anyone can make an app an run it on the Bismuth platform, if he/her have the skills to do it. To make an analogy Dragginator is like CryptoKitties which is not developed by Ethereum developers.

It's been a long time, and the BIS seems to have changed and improved a lot, and the new design logo is beautiful.I like it.

Good to hear this, means that our work is appreciated and we are heading in the right direction.

We are not sure, but we think that the hardfork that changed mining algorithm to Bismuth Heavy 3 to limit FPGAs hashrate paid off, and the greedy miner stopped dumping his coins.

Read more about this here: https://medium.com/@bismuthfoundation/bismuth-mining-evolution-d990ae680a7f

Best regards, BF

Yea perhaps that miner was selling everything he mined straight away, putting downwards pressure on the price.

Perhaps now people are holding more of their coins and setting up nodes etc. Anyway seems to have jumped and stabilised which is a good thing, means it will probably last.

Yes, he was getting like 30% of the pool blocks. But now all this is fixed with the implementation of the "new" mining algo.
