I ended up in fork, took to long to update the wallet
now already on 3.13.1
should I delete the whole blockchain and resync from scratch?

is there a quick sync / snapshot for block?

If your wallet's block height does not match what is currently shown on the block explorer:  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/block/ then you are likely forked or stuck.
Note: The CryptoID explorer has the possibility of getting stuck here and there as well - if it appears stuck then refer to the #general where community members are sharing their current block hash and height

First, make sure you are on the latest release 3.13.1 found here:
- Redesign: https://github.com/blocknetdx/blocknet/releases/tag/v3.13.1
- Classic: https://github.com/blocknetdx/blocknet/releases/tag/v3.13.1-classic

To check your block height, in the program menu select Tools > Information > Current number of blocks (2nd to last line).

Once you are on the latest release:

1.  Shut down your wallet

2. Follow the instructions found here to get on the correct chain:  https://github.com/blocknetdx/blocknet-blockchain-bootstrap

3.  Navigate to your wallet's data directory
Defaults:
Windows: C:\Users[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\BlocknetDX\
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/BlocknetDX/
Linux: ~/.blocknetdx/

3.  Add the following entries to your blocknetdx.conf:
addnode=3.17.240.214
addnode=144.202.48.94
addnode=149.28.121.22
addnode=45.32.76.39
addnode=149.28.72.21
addnode=155.138.238.89
addnode=155.138.222.168
addnode=95.179.169.219
addnode=45.77.66.218
addnode=149.28.164.120
addnode=149.28.167.115
addnode=108.61.208.55
addnode=107.191.62.28
addnode=66.42.35.188
addnode=45.76.218.48
addnode=108.214.8.13
addnode=52.200.188.234

4.  Restart your wallet

5. After you have done this, if your wallet "stalls" and doesn't advance in block height then you can try just restarting the wallet. If this doesn't work then navigate to the wallet data directory again and delete your peers.dat and mncache.dat files. If that still doesn't work then follow the instructions for the bootstrap again, including the part with deleting certain files:  https://github.com/blocknetdx/blocknet-blockchain-bootstrap

Block needs to actively attempt to get on some more exchanges. Great project but it is dying otherwise. I don't know many other projects doing what it has done so far.

The Blocknet website does not, but https://blockdx.co does, which is a site run by one of the community members.

...

We are constantly working towards making it more user friendly. CloudChains Inc is also working on developing the world's first decentralized lite multiwallet that will remove the need to sync the blockchains.

Thank you for the reply. That Webpage is helpful to me exactly what I wanted to see.

Did you think about integrating a simplefied BlockNet Wallet (just one blocknet address for fees and trading with Blocks) directly into the Blocknet Exchange program? Or maybe make the BlockNet Wallet containing the Exchange. I know they are logical 2 different and independent things (except the thing with the market taker  fee)..but from a user sight it is one trouble less if the both are together offered in one program ...I think.

The information that stacking will be disabled if I configure my Blocknet Wallet is very worry to me.
Staking needs to be disabled due to the way both staking and the exchange works, since both lock up UTXOs. After configuration you can still stake, but then you will be unable to properly trade on the exchange.

I can not find any live market data on the blocknet-website.

The Blocknet wallet installed and configured (hit troubles doing that) done I still see no market data.
Seems I have to install and configure another coin wallet to see anything.
This is due to the P2P nature of the exchange. You will only see orders for the wallets you have configured/connected. This also cuts down on the amount of resources the app uses. The price chart data will show trades for the past 24hrs for any pair with just the Blocknet wallet configured/connected since all of that information is stored on-chain.

too troublesome to deal with for non crypto enthusiasts to even go that path.

Today i tried my first time on setting up a BlockNet Wallet and the Blocknet-Exchange.
Maybe I am missing something completly but the way it seems to be there is no chance that this gets attraction.

The first and most important thing:
 - The markets have to be visible and it seems they are not!!

I can not find any live market data on the blocknet-website.
Well that's a shame so I hoped that you will see all the market when you at least install the Blocknet Dx Exchange program.

Next problem I can not install it without installing a valid Block-Wallet too. The information that stacking will be disabled if I configure my Blocknet Wallet is very worry to me. It sounds like a definitive disableing once you configure it which then means you have to install 2 Blocknet wallets. I hope that is not the case and the disabeing is only happening while you are connected with the Block-DX Exchange program. I couldn't make it to the point to check and figure that out by myself.

The Blocknet wallet installed and configured (hit troubles doing that) done I still see no market data.
Seems I have to install and configure another coin wallet to see anything.

I can't mess my existing coins configurations so not going to do that. But I wonder does this mean I will see only that very specific market of my 2 coin pair when I do that and all other interesting markets I have no wallet connected I can not see??

The Blocknet Idea of a completly decentralized Exchange is excellent!
But the way it is done it is much too troublesome to deal with for non crypto enthusiasts to even go that path.

For myself if I want to use that exchange it means to setup new wallets for each coins (with the correct wallet version) I want to trade and put them unlocked on my 24/7 server with fully synchroniced (downloaded) blockchains. That's a lot to ask. Now when I had a glimps on the market and see that there is a big enough market I fully would do that. But my guess is that the market is rather empty because the hurdle to access it is too height and that means that I will stay out of it too. And if others think the same way :/

Awesome progress, but..
Does anybody know if they have any marketing plan? it should be somewhere near KMD on cmc
really hard technical work was made, but people don't remember about BLOCKNET, volume is only 10k$/day
